- Seoul is the capital and largest metropolis of South Korea, forming the heart of the Seoul Capital Area, which includes the surrounding Incheon metropolis and Gyeonggi province, the world's second largest metropolitan area with over 25.6 million people
.It is home to over half of South Koreans along with 678,102 international residents
I was in Seoul 50 years ago (US Army). Wow, it has changed so much! Zoveel is verandert. I loved it then, I'm sure I would love it now. Thanks for the video!
I believe Dick!
gottabe there ok
Dick wagenaar
For your protection this country was able to develop. Thank you. And god bless you! god bless America.
Us and Korea alliance forever.
Come to korea..haha
As korean, thank you so much. Korean can't rebuild this country without you
Thank you for this. I subscribed last week in anticipation to see Korea again. I love Seoul.
I am tired and I'm not walking, thanks a lot, I was there in 2016, this vídeo is like being there all over again, love it!!!
Absolutely amazing city, the mix of Asia, Europe and USA. Thanks for the video, Kees!
Thanks for the good tour. Would be much better if you, momentarily, pause to look right or left at anything interesting. It leaves viewers wondering, what was that building we just passed by? It is still very good.
Mostly restaurant and etc hardware stores small clothing shop coffee shop flower shop. If you wonder what it is. tell me the time lapse ill tell ya
I remember when I was with the 43rd MASH in AnJung-Ri, going to Seoul on Saturdays and Sundays and going on long walks like this. Some of these walks would last 3 and 4 hours and it was wonderful. Having Korean food talking with the people I would encounter. What an experience!
Awesome this Pretty Place! I love it I feel like summer season hang around city and this look like Tokyo much beautiful I can't help it look on that.
I was in Seoul in the mid 90's..you were there too.
The Dutch boys. You helped me with support, encouragement and many tips about selling in the street and surviving in Seoul. My time in Korea really was some of the best adventures i ever had. Definitely one of the highlights of my life. It is great to see that you have continued to travel the world and make art through documenting those travels. Good health and good luck to you Casey. Long may you continue on your path.
cool , nice to meet again
Txs for loading, Kees~^^ I love the hills and mountain road of Seoul.
This guy does his korea walks in slightly seedy areas. It's a side that most walk throughs do not show.
tewkewl The first hour is the Insadong tourist area and its surroundings. Well, it's not like the super expensive famous Gangnam area or commercial Myeongdong with its department stores, but its far away from being a shanty town. Actually these traditional houses in this hilly area after around 30:00 are very expensive and the location is well known with Seoul tourists.
Yes, the lack of cliche in his videos is what keeps them interesting, keeps me watching the entire time, even when I should be doing something else.
i really wonder what they look like and how bad they are compared to other countries. whats the part that shows the seedy area?
great video! enjoy it very much & thanks for the upload!
This is my new favorite video of yours. I love the old village. Will you be going to Ireland or Scotland?
Austin Lozano i finished my trip in Asia, i am broke now , but they are both included .
wow so~~~ clean.
thanks for this video i would love to see other videos but at night please peace from morocco
Very nicely done! I feel like I'm there! I was wondering if this was downtown or what part of the city it is?
Thanks
I love ur videos. Thanks for making them
What a huge underground shopping place, it is amazing!
Good shots.
thanks
Korea is cleaner than I thought. They have developed so much.
ohhh.. adorable netouyoku❤︎
chaeun han
Sorry about annoying you. I just wanna say your country has changed better a lot. I'd rather envy you because our country is so stable.
Before the 1980s, South Korea was pretty dirty and poor.
South Korea is now a wealthy country, ranking higher than Japan in quality of life (Human Development Index), where-to-be-born index, and income level.
Sharon Kim
It's so nice to know Korea has grown a lot, but it's also a pity to see a Korean claiming Korea has surpassed Japan because such a contention itself proves Koreans still have a strong inferiority complex against Japan (If they had no complex, they wouldn't even try comparing. Indeed, Japanese never try to persuade others that Japan is more developed.) and thus the world keeps laughing at Korea under the condition that nobody thinks Korea is superior to Japan. Anyway, as long as I see the video, the streets in Korea look clean and modernized enough. Next achievement after material development should be quality of life and social maturity. Korea now should have an ability to make it for itself. It's not a poor country which needs Japan's support anymore. Hope Koeans become as wealty and matured as enough! Cheers!

The world has changed a lot my friend, Korea has surpassed Japan in many areas. It is not only Korea who is surpassing Japan, it is also mighty China.
I'm sorry if you took offence by what I said but it's the truth. Japan isn't the country that was once "richer than America."
You do know why Korea wasn't able to compete with Japan in the 20th century right? Japan had a head start in modernizing and Japan also annexed Korea for 35 brutal years. Soon after that, the Korean War broke out devastating the peninsula.
By the way, Japan LOANED Korea money, they didn't donate it. Korea already paid the loan anyways. Most Japanese people do not get that.
awesome!
Super video
wonderfull place
Too clean and orderly for my general taste, never the less surprisingly interesting in the versatile sense - hilly is allways good.......and the women looked pretty......:-)......the sequence at 6:30 was sorta interesting too....:-)....tnx "Mistah" Kees
Ledzz Go Err so do you prefer shantytowns? lol
Hi keez do you do this as a hobby your videos amaze me keep the good work up. Thanks Raymond
Yep a hobby ,thank you too
At 55:28, I was really hoping you would take a peek into that stone/concrete structure. I was so curious to see what was in there.

+MinatoNamikaze in am an old man ;-)
Hi ! Kees, are you staying in Asia now ?
Kees, I have a challenging idea about your walking in East Asia. The more developed cities in East Asia, such as HongKong, Seoul, Taipei, Tokyo, unlike most European cities, usually have lively night activities in some commercial streets, especially on holidays. So I boldly suggest you may try to walk bustling streets in these cities at night. It would be some different experience of sights in your film! However, the ever-changing lights in the night streets will challenge your video-shooting. So I just think it would be a challenge for you. And you must wear some kind of reflective clothes or some lighting, in order to secure your walking safety in traffic on dark roads. I guess it might be an interesting experience for Europeans to see bustling sights in night streets. : )
楊淑明 i am sorry to say i ran out of money , so next time
I love Korea and Hyundai
Where do you have the camera ?
i have a pistol grip
Thank for the video watching this feel like I’m in Korea for real 😍😍😍
anyone been there? is it a good destination for like a 10 day trip?
+Pertti Heinikko Seoul is a lot of fun and affordable.

13:54 I would assume that is a barber salon right there that is a universal Moore's sign I think it is related to butchers barbers and hair stylist in chronological order that is super neat seeing that there because I am a historian in the purest sense again thank you for the vids dies loving the non-exercise
Haha that delivery truck is getting ticketed towards the end of the video at 1:10:56.
good jop nice vdo
Is not there a place to go around Seoul?
How many places are there?
It is stiff.
Other foreigners showed a lot of things.
Why only Seoul?
Hello, you don't mention where it is. Seoul is large.
it's so rude to jaywalk in foreign countries. Please walk on sidewalks
neat, developed and organised. but I can think of 50 cities with that same quality, so what else is there?
Amazing Stud so much more. U should come visit and look around.
Differently from Tokyo, you don't see the charm of Seoul right away. You have to stay longer and figure out slowly, and then you will finally see what Seoul is like. It is quite attractive.
36 24 the Moors were there look at the the T's on the wall to the left
how many kms you walked through this city.omg you r panting
really, apart from the porn your vids are the best stuff on the web!
Keezi enjoys the dirty roads of the Seoul city.
Why do they walk on not sidewalk but roadway ?
It is no wonder that traffic accidents occur everyday there.
SALUDOS desde ECUADOR

11:22 Bo Peep Bo Peep (T-ara)
DrMonkeyloco What do you mean?
Sealblaighter Steven "Bo Pee Bo Pee" is Korean music by a group called T-ara
You seriously just walk without speaking anything. lol. That's funny and I like it but i hope you find more.. popular place to talk and take a video rather than an alley. Not many foreigners visit Sungkyungkwan University during traveling in Korea. lol.
Plz walk in Tallinn, Estonia
need a better quality camera
What about Walking in North Korea?
i would love to do that
@pahha spb Watch the Jaka Parker´s videos in Pyongyang. He is a foreigner who lived in North Korea 3 years. He returned to his country this year.

Yudha Arvianto They come out at night. Night life in Seoul is amazing!

CRIZ209 use proper English please...

it is just a waste of time. You walked around small part of Seoul.
about ten miles
What do you want, Seoul is a huge city, and this is part 2!
