when i describe to people what type of english vocaloid music i wanna make i would point to ur music, it’s got the style of japanese artists with punchy english lyrics and i adore it
This song brought back a nostalgia I’ve never had, the grit mixed with a warmth that really feels like it's taken me back to the 2000s. I adore the rasp of your Eleanor, thank you for the gorgeous song.
This song..... it's so good wtf??? Idk how to describe it, the melancholy sense I felt from the lyrics hit really hard especially when the chorus came. I'll definitely be playing this again and again, thank you for this meaningful song. Coming to terms with things you gotta do huh...
I really like this. The lyrics are simple, but so well-put and moving. Both convincing and reassuring, an almost optimistic song without being awkwardly positive; the speaker is not saying everything is going great, or will go great, but they're saying that you'll have to face reality and do what's right for you eventually. "An umbrella won't protect you for when you've already drowned" - I can't delude myself and cling to small, trivial 'victories' , since they won't actually make me happy in the end. The part were it goes "you're never going to miss this" especially ignited something. Haha I think I listened to this at the right moment in my life, I'm in college and lost about the future, so I distract myself by focusing on schoolwork, and the positives, and trying my best, when It's not really want I want to be doing. Which is why the line "look at you working so hard on everything that's not yourself" also struck a chord, amongst others. taste the rain is a wise friend giving you advice. Straightforward, and effective. A bunch of very well-placed lines that I've heard variations of before given to me in a fresh package with great vibes. The bridge to me is a reflection on how cold and systematic the future seems, trying to get into uni, trying to get a job, the stress of it all, and the absurdity of it all. I feel like there are a good amount of ways to interpret the lyrics, which is always a good thing, since that means it can be relatable to so many people. And despite this it doesn't lose its originality. There's so much more to say about this song, it's that good. I also like how some words are unclear, such as "seconds" - I thought until now that it was "too many circles" in the rain, which gives it a slightly different, albeit similar meaning in the end. I haven't heard English Vocaloid like this before. A vocal synth, especially Eleanor, with this type of music, gives it a certain charm I can't describe yet. I'm not much of an English Vocaloid fan but out of all I've listened to your songs are the most compelling to me and my favourite. Thank you :3
i listened to this over and over the week after i lost my grandmother, on the way to and from the funeral, and while i fell asleep for days after. it's brought me a lot of catharsis and calm this year. i hope you know the power you have to connect on a very human level with your beautiful music, thank you for making music 🤍
Ok I've listened to this at least 6-7 times since I found it ytd. Idk why I love it so much... the lyrics, guitar, tuning, drawing, and that lovely backing vocal that leads to a beautiful harmony at the 2nd chorus hit me so hard aaaa. If I finish an original song I hope I can make sth that would be this impactful, thank you so much for this song again and sry for long comments
