I concur... which is why I definitely won’t subscribe. This was suggested to me on RUclips. I assume they’re lovely people but here they only perform for the camera. No thoughtful and respectful reactions. It would be nice if they quit trying to be cute and funny because unfortunately they’re neither. And the interrupting and not listening shows their immaturity.
The thing about the Beatles is that they wrote and sang what they wanted to without worrying about what was popular. That's what makes them unique.

This song will take you back, make you reflect, make you sad, make you miss what you once had (& maybe took for granted). To do all that, in one song, IMO, this was one of those Masterpieces for The Beatles. Glad you got the chance to experience it.

Most creative band ever, so many different styles of music in so short a time.
The Beatles were my Mum’s favourite band and she told me when she was dying that this track was what she wanted playing at her funeral, the fella she was married to chose another Beatles song, all these years later I still kick myself for not being strong enough to tell him no, she wanted “In My Life”
The Beatles have sold over 800 million albums world 🌎🌍 wide. Elvis and Michael Jackson aren't even in the same ballpark in sales and this band split up 51 years ago. Nobody in your lifetime's will surpass them and you can take that to the bank.

The only reason his kids are set is because his family sold the Lennon/McCartney catalog a couple of years ago for a cool billion. We were talking album sales not profit. By the way, McCartney is the only billionaire musician in history. Lennon's estate is worth about 950 million. That's not chicken feed my friend. Let's not confuse or compare Michael Jackson or Elvis with The Beatles. They wrote about 98% of their songs and they actually played instruments. They didn't need to dance around on stage.

I'm just pointing out the irony here. McCartney is a class act in the way he describes what happened, but I think what Michael did was a pretty creepy thing to do.

In essence the lyrics reflect the old saying - "The only constant in life is change!" As you age, like me at 75, they bring more and more memories and yield more meaning!
This song is not one meant to try and jam and get down to but to listen and contemplate.

I was lame. I wrote out the lyrics to this song from memory and stuck it in a girl’s locker in junior high. I think I just made things more difficult for her. She didn’t deserve that. She showed me respect when I never even came close to deserving it. I was a typical politically incorrect 90s kid - with 4 eyes and a very loose lip. Yeah, doesn’t really go together, does it? I’m just glad life kind of worked out for her. Great hubbie with 2 kids. I couldn’t be happier for her.

I was 11 years ago when I first saw The Beatles. All the girls used to sing this song referencing their "favorite Beatle." It went ... "I love you Ringo, oh yes I do; I ove you Ringo, oh yes I do; I love you Ringo, oh yes I do; oh Ringo, I love you." I loved them all and I love your reactions. Sorry kids. This song, one of their Many great ones, is not a finger snapper. You certainly don't have to Like every old tune, but, when it comes to THIS GROUP.... who literally turned the music world upside down and changed it's direction FOREVER, a small measure of respect would be more appropriate. Yes... I'm now the Old Guy... but was once a youngster like you two, and we all knew, even when it was happening, that this foursome was making history. The music was beautiful, the lyrics usually meant something, and it was wonderous to hear what came NEXT !!! Still grateful to have been alive then.

Love this song... this is actually on a playlist I have titled "For my memorial", along with other songs, one of which I recommend checking out... "Reflections of my Life" by a group called The Marmalade. My dad and I listened to it often in the months before he died.
Only Elvis Presley is anywhere near The Beatles in record sales, but they are still top. Not bad for a band who were only together in the spotlight as a band for just over 7 years! 17 UK number one singles & 20 USA number one singles. In UK chart, only act to have 11 straight number ones on the trot and on USA Billboard chart, only act to hold the top 5 song positions in the chart at the same time!

Also, they starred as themselves in the fictional movies "A Hard Day's Night" and "Help." Both movies are excellent, but I would say that "A Hard Day's Night" is a bit better.

Actually in the 1960s people in their early 20s were considered full grown adults (much more than now) because in the 1960s almost everybody had parents or even older siblings who had fought a world war only 15-20 years earlier.
