Just know your dog is great and this is the beginning of a great video. However there are a lot more wild dogs that lure course. If you put your fingers through the loop like that on a big strong lure crazy wild dog at an event you could break your fingers. For novices I always recommend not putting your fingers in the loop but run the leash through the palm of your hand for grip. Don't loop fingers!
Just took my 9 month old puppy to try lure coursing for the first time today. Had I seen this video beforehand and followed the instructions, no doubt I would have painfully broken a finger. I have never felt so much power out of her. We found her passion. Just need to learn how to manage her between runs.
This is a great video! My frenchie is a maniac when it comes to lure coursing and needs two handlers holding her to get her leashed up. I would love to use this but I can't imagine how I'd get it on her 🤣
Hope nobody takes this seriously! I watched about a minute, and had to stop. 1. The slip lead is made wrong, and would not be used by anybody that knows what they're doing. Common novice mistake. 2. The slip lead is nowhere near the correct size for the dog - whoever sold it to her should have known better. Get your information from someone that some experience!

So leave resources for the correct information.
Not sure where you are getting your information. This is a standard coursing setup not a training lead.
thank you
