I feel like it was such an incredible missed opportunity that the full art map lands do not all combine to create the complete map of Middle Earth as pictured in the books, or a close facsimile thereof. I had just assumed this was the case and when I discovered it was not, it was a huge disappointment! Thanks man.

I love the gift bundles so much. The last one I got was for the Crimson Vow and it did not disappoint.
I pulled about $225 out of my $85 gift bundle only counting cards above $7.

Nice pulls. My family ordered 2 bundles for me to open up on my channel, which was nice. I'm hoping for some big pulls. I wouldn't mind a serialized card lol.
That would be crazy to snag more than 1 ring from the bundle, but in theory it should be possible.
I got this same box and found a ring, orcish bowmasters, and a lot more awesome cards. I really like this gift set.

The game was ruined in 2015 just like budwiser I stopped paying hasbro money almost a decade ago. First off I bought off a full set of dual lands from china and back then they were already so good you couldn't tell when playing with them that they were proxies. Once a mtg guru who has been playing since like beta was sitting next to me and he waws like wow nice condition they totally fooled them. But he was so exited to see mint condition dual lands so I didn't want to spoil it for him. But we are not sanctioned by their stupid rules and we have proxy tournaments for legacy which is fun.
Oh and chinese Uigur made duals were 5 dollars for singles so 20 bucks for a playset. But in these days they make the machines the usa prints cards with so they can just print legit cards
I hate how much these cost.
My locals had them for $120, but Target had them for $85 and Wal-Mart was $90. Sorry locals, I'd rather support you, but when you upcharge a product by 40% I have to take my money elsewhere.
The German "Target" has it for 262€. Ehhhh yes, higher than the Cradmarket prices

i picked up 2 bundles in the states for $60 apiece. got some great pulls, plus i have an extra 4 card scene with the ring that i'm thinking about selling. the cheapest i've seen these gift bundles for is $111...it's hard for me to see the value in this as the $40 collector booster packs rarely yield cards that recover the cost.
I have the 😂 Aragorn card with the special art and I didn't even noticed Aragorn was black. I just noticed it today as I was watching your video and you said it then I went to see if I had one of those "special edition" black Aragorn, but then I found out Aragorn is black on this entire set. I'm Dominican so being black is not something that would stand out for me, so if you didn't mention it in this video I wouldn't have noticed.
I think they just wanted to make some different artistic choices instead of having mostly white characters. It really upset some people!
That collector booster was a dud.. just around 20 usd. While you pay double.
got one today, pulled a orcish bowmasters, Argonath, Witch-King of Ang showcase foil, Sauron lidless eye extended art
I'm hoping they decrease the price alot so i can join in on this seeing as the one ring has been found. Huge fan of LOTR.

Thanks for the video. I was on the fence with purchasing one and I can see that the average value is close to what you pay for it. The one ring that’s included makes this bundle more tempting but I feel that it’s gonna lose a lot of value soon, seeing that it’s an auto include. I’m gonna base my decision on you. Do u think It’s worth purchasing one at $120 out the door pricing?
If you're hoping to get your money back, no. That's about double the price of a regular gift bundle, and I can't see The One Ring going up in value too much more. The odds of pulling a Sol Ring out of the collector booster is astronomically low. The dice is cool, but you could probably get one for $5-10 online. Having said all that, I don't see these bundles dropping in price due to insane demand.
I just want the regular bundle, but it's sold out everywhere. I hope there will be another print run because the demand still seems crazy.

118 = about 107 euro. The box sells for about 199.95 euro = 219,40 dollar. We in Europe are getting XXXXXXXX. Even we have to go to Cardmarket to buy setboosterboxes etc etc, because their production is no longer continued, according to retailers. ive been looking forward towards this set since announcement. So i hope u understand how i and others feels. Knowing they are even printed in Belgium ( my country ) we have to fight to get a bundle and we have to see on how they in the US people carry multiple boxes home at the same time. pity how mtg divides its priorities. Why leave something for those losers in Europe right?

Hey beginner here. I dont play magic - just a huge fan of lotr. Which pack would you guys recommend for someone who doesnt want to play and just enjoy the artworks without having to pay too much?
I suggest browsing the card gallery for recent sets on mythicspoiler.com to find an art style or theme you like, then either buy the packs for the sets you like, or even better you can buy individual cards you like on tcgplayer.com (assuming you're in the US).

I just got a Zendikar Resurgent gift bundle from tcgplayer today and it had two frickin standard land packs INSTEAD of the foil pack with the promo! Im so pissed because I collect foil lands.

Oh god I am so excited! Today is the day, so we will see if I get one! Maybe I will give an update :) but I will honestly not pay more than 100€, I guess it is just a bit tooooo risky :/
So a little update:
I got one!
I paid 130€!
One guy from the staff told me that they usually sell gift bundles for 100€ but because of the lotr license they need to sell it with 30% more. Otherwise they wouldn't make a penny.

Which is a great pull I guess. Of course I hoped for a serialized sol ring but you cannot have everything :)
I got gift bundles for 57,5€ *includes tax and shipping, gonna resell them for 120€

just found one and unboxed it. Verry glad with the box, but what i notice is the quality of the cards is different than the seperate booster packages i have purchased last weeks. the cards from this bundle feel less "smooth" than my other cards. this is so on for example the included lands, but also on cards from the boosters... is this caused by the different places where they are printed? are are the bundle's printed in canada/us ? and my boosters maybe local (europe/belgium?) if i compare, for example the blue land card from my local booster packs is the border slightly darker printed compared with the lands from the gift bundle... on the other hand, got lucky to have another " bundle one ring" in the collector booster :-) and in the set booster a "delighted hafling
Yes, the rougher feeling cards are typically printed in the US/Canada. The Japanese printed cards we often get in the first print run are usually higher quality.

I truthfully couldn't care less about the "racial changes," I feel like Tolkien himself would've said "they can be cyan if you want them to be, what matters is what they do," I actually enjoy the changes myself. They kept Ian McKellen and Sir Christopher Lee as they appear so that's nice as well it's actually kinda nice to see them add in more colour because despite the story being influenced by old Norse legend I can't see why Legolas couldn't be black just so long as he still acts and sounds like Legolas

I wanted to be mad about black Aragorn but if were being honest Lotr is kinda lacking in character diversity specifically among human characters in the main story arc.
In reality I think wizards was pretty kind to the original IP
