Didn't Kelso have his child in 1979? Which would mean by 1995 she would be 16...which is pretty in line with most of these kids. I hope to see her as a guest appearance.

Yess and she’d be about 16 in 1995 and about 20 (the actors are 15-18 so about the same) now! Wouldn’t be surprised if she turns out to be Leila’s friend and no one made the connection if she forgot about her biological dad growing up...
@@Cassxowary It would be super cool to see her become friends with Leia, not knowing she is Jay's sister and Betsy not knowing she has a brother. It would be such a cool cliffhanger for an episode in the next season.

They wrote out ERIC b/c he wanted more of a contract... After 7 seasons. He knew this was headed for Syndication. It's like Seinfeld... 1 million an episode... was too much for Jerry, Elaine, Kramer and George. How much do you think they pay Kevin Costner for Yellowstone???
I can imagine her character having a significantly higher IQ than Kelso and Jackie’s child on That 90s Show lol
It's annoying how they all pretended she didn't exist. Same with Midge, Laurie and Hyde.
I can understand Hyde since he still has his on going case I bet they're unsure still if to bring him back. I can accept that as it's a "let's wait and see phase" though I wonder is Danny "would" come back because he was sore with Netflix about the Ranch. Laurie is best just not recast. Her replacement wasn't very good and we all know we sadly can't have the original actress back :(
I do hope Midge makes an appearance though.
@@No_More_Eyes545 I'm not talking about bringing back Hyde, I am just talking about at least mentioning him on the show. Midge would also need to be replaced since Tanya Roberts died in 2021.
@@tarik6990 Oh man, I didn't know the Midge actress also died. That's sad...
What I meant about Hyde is that I think that the showrunners might be unsure about bringing him back if he gets found not guilty on all charges. He already had a mistrial and most of the Jury voted not guilty since there's no evidence of his accusations.
So maybe they're still unsure if they would bring him back and are treading lightly on Hyde's fate until they can say for sure. I could be wrong though and they're dead set on not bring him back, but it's just a thought since Danny seems like he's not gonna be convicted since there's no evidence from his accusers.
@@No_More_Eyes545 Yes but I don't think most people care about Hyde being brought back. I would actually be fine with him not being brought back BUT I am definitely not fine with them all pretending he never existed.

Edit: and you can't say "most" people don't care about him being back, I think a lot of people want the gang back together.

Maybe they’re saving Betsy for season 2 where she’ll have the same relationship to Jackie like how Kitty and Laurie were to each other in 70s Show.
An appearance is always possible, but she'd be older than the new gang, so most likely not in the core group. Kelso and Jackies son is another potential plot hole too...at the end of the 70s, Kelso was living in Chicago ( I can't remember if him and Brooke were together or not), but it seems weird that Jackie gets pregnant essentially at the same time Donna would have with Leia. The timeline doesn't seem right at all given Kelso and Jackie's situations at the end of the 70s. At least Eric and Donna having a kid by 1981 seems plausible, but I feel like they'll have to elaborate a lot on Kelso/Jackie's kid, as Jackie was with Fez, and Kelso was in Chicago w Brooke. A lot would have to play out for them to have a kid together by 1981, so he's the same age as Leia if thats the case.
This show had more than 4 thanksgiving eps in 4 “years” so I don’t think they’re too worried about timing plot holes like that
Just to add to the confusion. I thought jackie got with fez, not Kelso. And I thought Kelso left with Brooke and his daughter, not Jackie.
This is what I was thinking! She would be a year or two older than the main group so she could be the one giving out advice/providing them with (in Leo’s words) the “other stuff”

I think maybe Jackie and Fez broke up at the beginning of the 1980, and then she probably got back together with Kelso right away. Probably left Fez for Kelso lol
I bet Betsy probably lives in Chicago with Brooke, and yeah, she might visit Kelso during the summer, as he might live in point place back with Jackie and their son.
Not sure of the second part, but it sounds likely. And as for Fez and Jackie, yes you are correct. Fez caught Jackie on the phone with Kelso, after going on a romantic getaway to Jamaica.
The child from Brooke was born in the course of the old show, none of these other kids existed yet. I doubt the older kid would be part of the new gang, too old, but maybe in another way.
They might retcon the whole relationship between Jackie and Fez as one of the dreams Fez has like a recall to the dream Jackie had about Fez.
They already established that the relationship happened. Kitty asked Fez about it. Funny how Mila was upset that she's married to Kelso, even though they're married in real life lol
