@@anaphylastiks There's no compelling evidence either way since KB fired all the rest of the suspect rounds instead of getting them pressure tested, or analyzing the powder loads. Mark hasn't shown an RN-50 firing proof loads, so that's also not inspiring much confidence. As far as I know, gas handling from a case rupture hasn't been thoroughly investigated either. Production RN-50s are probably fine (KB's was a one-off custom job), but as an engineer myself, and a 50 BMG enthusiast, I'm not 100% convinced only the ammo was at fault.

Those tiles are a good reactive target, the way they jump or explode is so cool in slowmo
I remember a few videos ago you mentioned something along the lines losing subscribers and not knowing why, and all I could think of was you guys came out of nowhere shooting 50 bmg slaps and raufoss at thick plates of titanium and ar500. It was more extreme than a lot of content put out by more established guntubers, I think you were the first guys I saw shoot slaps semi frequently... Plus, it's nice to not have to skip through 8 minutes of silliness to get to the real meat and potatoes. You set a very high standard for yourselves imo.
I didn't say anything as I know the more exotic stuff is pricey, and some people have grown wary of slaps in particular. I am so glad to see you guys shootkng some heavy stuff, keep up the great content, one of my favorite channels.

308 SLAP round with and without coated bullet tip: try dry moly, Hexagonal boron nitride, and orhers. I have a feeling that coated ones will improve the AP.

With the 50 BMG you should aim a little left, it seems most rounds start to go right after first impact

Depleted uranium has been tested on yt but not out of a 50

Not as fun for the fans as Mk211 or even plain API, but the round that would have done the most damage is probably Mk263.

Next time, can we see what the same rounds do to stacked tile v spaced tile. Will the api go through more if stacked or spaced? Also gives 2 chances for fireballs.
Should get a bunch of ol coffee creamer and send one of those farther sparklers through it. Just make sure you have a hard plate behind it to set it off. We used to rade our mess halls for the creamer for building imploding. That was awesome stuff. Lol

I don't think the price difference of the mk211 raufoss or performance over well loaded api justifies the hype,especially for civilians,
The Israeli api is close enough,
Also for pure effect the blue tip pure incendiary 50bmg is the top dog, that round looks awesome on target and like with the 8mm mauser vs 7.62x54r HE when shot against a helmet is truly devastating,
The best all rounder bang for your buck literally lol is the 12 gauge heavy hitter slugs with binary explosive filler and rimfire blank in the nose,
Watching the effect on the video on 1shottv on a torso that went off directly on the gel with no plate or hardened fixing needed to set it of,

Italian porcelain would do ba better job at stopping rounds.ceramic is grade 2 and 6 ... porcelain is a grade 8.
I have an idea how about same setup just with a block of ballistic gel on one or both sides i would like to se what the shards of tile would do to the gel. PS. you can use normal ball round for economy xd. 😁
Very cool. Perhaps you can try subscriber created shotgun slugs? Remember that there are many gauges so the possibilities should be plentiful. I am not suggesting anyone send live rounds, just the projectile/s. You two would have to load however that would add a serious margin of safety.

Oh the cool little out of date round wasn't reliable? What a shame to see what already has been done on other channels.
