Idk how anyone can hate .308. Good power, many firearms chambered in 7.62x51 or .308, one of my favorite full power rifle rounds ever
I agree. 308 and 30-06 are 2 of my favorite calibers ever. I do prefer the lighter recoil of the 308 tho.

Once again a great video from the research and destruction channel. I had a stroke and I am very right handed. I now have to shoot lefty. While I have been practicing drawing with my left hand with a Snap Cap in the pistol for safety reasons. I have dropped the gun several times and the sights area all jacked up. I could use that tool to help re sight my every day carry handgun. Thanks guys for the content that makes me have that sick smile on my face!!
That would be a very practical tool to have to make sure my sights are properly aligned also to make it easier to change sights to better quality ones by myself!

Man, when I saw all them pans I thought you boys were going to have a massive fry-up bacon, sausages and eggs....I guess frying up those hot rounds was the answer to that. Good video and good camera work.
Love your channel it's awesome! I have several open sight rifles however my favorite the sites are bent I haven't shot it for a long while. The sight alignment tool looks like a fantastic idea.

For penetration most rounds are compared to mm thickness steel without spacing... Spaced armor is known to be effective against certain types of projectiles, especially lighter and faster munitions.
Great video! I never have seen anyone ever cook on an enameled frying pan. They're best for shooting!

Well it's a lighter round, so while it will pernitrate a thicker piece of metal it will loose velocity much faster as it passes through multiple layers which is why the steel cored rounds barely performed much better than the normal round.
Every badass American, needs a badass sight pusher. Unfortunately I don't have one. Someone will be very lucky.

I love your content!! I could sure use the sight pusher to replace all my aging night sites, but to be honest the guy right at the beginning of the list who said he had a stroke and now has to shoot with his off hand deserves it more than I do.
Would love one of those tools ,, have been needing to adjust several rear and a few front sights for 30+ years but don't want to risk denting or scratching anything ,,, I'd have to re learn my guns though after adjustment because after that long I've learned to just hold left or right depending on which one I'm shooting lol no one else can hit anything with at least two of mine but I've got them down pat.
I use dovetail red dot sights on my edc, the sight pusher sounds awesome for it!
I have a Springfield XDM .40, 4.5” and I’ve went to replace the sights with a punch multiple times but just can’t get myself to do it haha. This tool looks much easier to operate
If in doubt Tungsten is the way to go!

I need this Accucraft Sight Pusher because my Commader is off with the ammunition that I feed it. With 230grn ball it's a tack driver but the hollow-points that I run through it hit left consistently. Using a brass drift is guess work at best.

I NEED THAT TOOL! I have been wanting to get a sight tool for a long time, but they are expensive. Great video 👍I handloaded some 308 accelerators with 30 cal sabots from EABCO and shot a hole in my steel target. I wonder how many frying pans it would go through.
Have you seen the Swiss Ap 50 cal round available right now? any thoughts on them ?
The last sight pusher I bought was $80. It was junk basically. But it got the job done. Would be awesome to have one that actually works. Especially considering I need to put a factory height sight back on my Walther PDP.

I need that bad boy because no matter how carefully I tippy tappy my rear sights on my EDC, I CANNOT get it perfectly centered. Been dealing with it for a while and tried a million times. I'd rather not rely JUST on knowing how my gun shoots to be accurate. I'd sleep better KNOWING it was perfectly aligned! No more pulling shots

Yes it will. I've sent 7.62×39 through decently sized tree trunks. Straight through no problem. .308 has a significant more amount of OOMF
weird iv once watched a video of edwin sarkisian shooting frying pans with both ar and ak and the best they get i think 3 or 4 pans
Should use 3/4" pine boards like you have there and compare different calibers, Kentucky ballistics used to do it, But he doesn't do it no more. And I keep emailing and Commenting. That was his very early videos and they were great. I watch all your videos as many as I can find, The one with the drums the fifty five gallon drum and wooden barrel👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I need a pusher for sure. I've got Smith that I was able to save up to get, it took me a little time as i am disabled just to get it and realize the fixed sights are off pretty badly. Great video as always guys.

Being that I am starting out in the gunsmith field wile going to SDI. I have noticed that what tools you have as well as the quality of tools makes or breaks a job you may be doing. Having this sight pusher would assure I would be able to have a high quality tool that would last for a long time in my tool box to be able to accomplish each job that I may need it for.

👍😊 the only problem I have with ball fmj is it’s not that accurate in my rifle.
I guess that SLAP round just didnt have the kinetic energy to power through all those plates like the larger rounds. Kinda shows even with it's hard core that is very capable of penetrating armor it's in no way an all rounder and other rounds are better against perhaps cover rather than conventional armor?
Are you guys sure that was an authentic SLAP round? I can attest from personal experience out of an M40A5 a SLAP round went through an aluminum engine block and the firewall to end the drivers existence.
