- Waiheke Island is only a short 40 min ferry ride from Auckland's ferry terminals. It's a great place to visit for a weekend getaway and if you enjoy incredible food at a gorgeous natural setting be sure to check out the last restaurant!

1. Two Fat Buns - Classic Kiwi burger spot, great ingredients and packed full of flavor. We can see why this place is packed all day!

2. Dragonfired - Possibly the best location for a pizza shop ever! Located right next to Little Oneroa beach. If you're feeling like a snack while you're hanging out this Waiheke beach you know where to go!

3. The Oyster Inn - A wonderful restaurant and hotel, the seafood here is super fresh. If you're a fan of oysters you have to come here to try some of Waiheke Island's finest oysters.

4. Poderi Crisci - As soon as we arrived at this restaurant we felt like we were transported somewhere magical. As the food came the magic continued. This place is so beautiful and picturesque, coupled with a lovely degustation it's definitely one to visit when you go to Waiheke.

Yeah sesame bun gang for life for me so much better than a brioche bun! They were incredibly big too and the ingredients o so fresh.

Waiheke is no joke.. Wonderful island with amazing fold!!! The last place is way fancy!! Maybe too fancy tropical for me!! I need a tropical shirt to eat this food!! The food is wow
hahahahaha bro they place is fancy but it definitely gave me a big wow moment. I think the setting in particular was just so impressive that it's made my way into one of the places to visit if you want to impress someone special. For those times where ambience is very important 🤔😏😂😂👍🥂

Paua is so expensive these days! I remember we used to have it at the Avondale flee markets for cheap as all the time, but now it's like once a year kinda food 😅 poderi crisci was a really pretty setting definitely recommend trying it out if you're on waiheke exploring the 30 vineyards 😂😂😂

It was Sundai!!! It's one of the most picturesque places we found in Auckland. Picture this sun setting over the meadow, you're sitting in an Italian old school building, olive trees behind you, fresh clean New Zealand air and an amazing multi course meal with wine pairing if you choose to go that route... 👌👌👌❤🥂

Ooo yeah oysters are def one of my favourite things to eat in Auckland there are two places that tied equal for oysters cause they both get the seasons finest. Depot and oyster and chop. Even though these waiheke Pacifics were amazing bluff has to be my all time favourite. The creaminess of a bluff is just insane. The perfect oyster. Yens missing out 😂😂😂 she's not a super adventurous eater. The last place is where you should take Tina for a date night if you come to New Zealand hahahaha 🥂

Your squad is normally so well behaved though 😂😂😂 poderi crisci definitely worth the extra mile of getting a baby sitter for. The setting was absolutely amazing and then add some delicious food. Went over the top of our expectations 👌

On this occasion we went with two of our friends so they helped us film for part of this. Sometimes it's just us though. Glad you enjoyed the episode we had a load of great food and it is always a good time visiting waiheke island 😁👍

I love eating things raw especially because I feel like that is how mother nature intended for us to eat. But don't get me wrong I love a well seasoned brisket too hahahaha. I dunno if I could pick a favourite mollusc though we've got a seafood episode in a few weeks and you'll see why 😁✌
