I'm new to fpv. I have a few years on building but I got myself a eagel eye system but now I'm totally lost! Any advice on how to set up? (Advice needs to be simple and idiot proof for me!) good vid. Should do more!
Its fairly easy onced it's wired up, if you are using a Vector flight controller, the EagleEyes will pick up the location from the FPV video transmitter. Power on the EagleEyes first, then power up the video transmitter. Enter the Vector on screen dispay and activate the EagleEyes tracking, there is a setup wizard on there to set your pan and tilt limits.
Any chance you know why an eagle eyes unit fails to calibrate? I have attempted to calibrate as many as eight eagle eyes units and they all fail. None of them work beyond calibration. Numbers roll on the video but you never experience any movement of the servos. thoughts?
Calibrate? when you do the first setup you calibrate your servo limits. When you are at the field you need to zero the EagleEyes. Place the model about 15 20 meters infront and set model posision as zero pan on the Vector OSD. The EagleEyes works from GPS location which is sent down the video transmitter. It will pick up home position as soon as you power up the model, then once it's zero'ed it should follow you.

Great video. Please can you share the 3D files for the case? Thank you.
The case is hand made from plywood and covered in self adhesive plastic wrap.
Is this using gps or non gps sir ?
The Eagle Eyes picks up GPS coordinates sent from the Vector via the video transmitter.
How You did get the coordenadas?
