Never thought about using my phone to download an OS... until now. Saves me from having to do it at work. I currently live in a rural area without Internet access. (If you don't count Hughesnet satellite, which I don't - because it's shite.)

I like CX file manager. It's also handy for transferring files to your NAS from your phone. ES still works, I just prefer the former.
Pinn OS is great. A pity it has not ben developed for other platforms.

Images need to be converted to work with Pinn. Funktasy already has KDE Plasma Desktop

I am planning to make a pi 5 desktop so i can use computer at cheap price but I only have phone how I am supposed to use pi 5😢 how to update bootloader with phone
Hopefully a new Pi 5 would have a reasonably recent bootloader. If not, this method won’t work and you would need to update it. At this time the only way I can think of to do that is with Linux, Windows, or Mac OS. Linux on a Chromebook may also let you install Raspberry Pi imager or Balena etcher to write the os.
Followed all your instructions for Pinn-lite OS, including making sure bootloader was latest version, still won't boot on my Raspad with 8gb RPi5.....any hints? P.S. I have been able to use both KDE (your version) and FydeOS both work on this Raspad... I'm stumped!!

Lee the usb tools only works with a usb to sd card and doesn’t work with a sd card from sd slot

Hiyah! Does not boot. Screen says OS not compatible with Raspberry Pi 5, or can change a config setting to ignore the message !? Message keeps repeating. Bootloader up to date. What else should I try (64 GB SD card FAT32). Help! Thanks for a good video, Robert
Did you format to fat 32 then copy just the Pinn os files to the root of the sd card? If you have a newish bootloader that should be enough. Delete any other folders that Android creates.

Use imager on your Pi 4 to write Raspberry Pi os to an sd card. If it doesn’t work give more details
@@leepspvideo using imager 1.7.5 on my pi4 I have copied multiple images to different sd cards and usb sticks also ssd . When I start up pi5 it says os not supported on this pi. That's why I question can I use imager on a pi4 to flash pi5 operating systems. 18 hours trying this and slowly giving up hope for my pi5
