I love this camera but I’m thinking about switching to the other side haha (Sony) but not sure… if you could use another brand what will it be and why? I struggle because I am very much a photographer but want to do more videos etc You colour grading is on point by the way 👌🏾
Aweee thank you for watching this one and commenting 🤍 I hear you. The Xh2S has been beautiful but it definitely has its cons. The quality out of it is beautiful and FLOG 2 is a pleasure to grade. Also 6.2k has become my go to when it comes to filming. Specially for client work! HOWEVER the autofocus on the camera is 🗑️ I usually manually focus most of my shots when I’m not talking. AF is unreliable and I also feel that the camera fees bulky IMO. I am small lol so that could be why aswell. I’m gonna see how it feels with the new 16-55 coming out. I strictly use mine for filming. I don’t find it fun to use to take photos. I leave that for my XT4 :) If Fuji doesn’t fix their AF I do plan on selling it and possibly getting either an FX3 / A7Siii or the LUMIX s5IIx since it’s a bit cheaper. I just need something more reliable for client work. I don’t feel I personally need the camera for my personal / RUclips videos. I was contemplating just getting another XT4 for video but ended up with the XH2s since I needed a good cam for client work 🥲 the DJI pocket 3 also seems like a cool option as well. I’ve seen some dope footage come out of it. I hope this helps!
Oh wow thank you! I think it’s best to just go with Sony for video. I might get a FX30 as I am not that professional and see how I like it. I will for sure miss the Fuji colours :(. I will also always keep my X-T4 for photos and b-rolls anyway, I love that camera! I was also looking at LUMIX but I don’t want to regret it again and end up with Sony, I think it’s best to just go with the best if AF is necessary. And yes, Pocket 3 is amazing, next time I am in Asia I’ll pick up one, they are cheaper there. I use the action 4 for casual vlogs and it looks great! Cheers 😊
