Throughout the years people have tried to the crossover between BGS to PSA and usually fail at a high rate. A small percentage of the BGS cards will crossover to a PSA 10 but majority will become PSA 9. A smart investor would analyze prices on a PSA 9 first as a way to see your floor. You are basing off a PSA 10 which is the sky.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I agree with you, but what you said isn't true. I'm always looking at the floor of all of my crack and submit plays. Maybe I didn't do a good enough job explaining that in this video, but I in the last four years on this channel we've covered this topic a lot and I always look at the floor. Good point. Thanks for correcting me if I didn't mention it in this video. Meant to.
Nice video. Just picked up a TJ Watt 2017 Prizm Blue Wave Auto BGS 9.5/10 that I planned to attempt a cross. Been a bit timid to submit as-is, as I saw lots of commentary that very little success was had when sending slabs in for crossover. Cracking scares me, as I have never done so. Side note, not sure if you care, but you show a lot of personal detail while in eBay making offers. Might not want to DOX yourself 😂
Yo! Thanks so much for watching and commenting my man. Truly appreciate the kind words and support! I'm cracking a ton of slabs at all times. It's still just as risky as buying raw, etc., but with a little more flavor. :) I'm aware of the personal info I'm showing, and I'm fine with it currently, but good looking out. :)
@@Z_the_CPA I don't recommend the crossover submissions. I've had no success with them. Bias comes into play with the grader for sure. PSA likes to review it and send it back to you in it's original slab and charge you for it. Always crack. There's one exception. That's when you have a BGS authenticated auto and you want it in a PSA slab with a card grade and an auto grade or auto authentication and a card grade. I've had success with those, and you want PSA to know that BGS has authenticated the auto.

I also think your comment is more applicable to vintage. Ultra modern cards tend to be more reliable crossovers.

@@PaulHickey Good to know. Any experience with PSA on the slab crossover service? Or do you always crack and submit raw? Thanks for the feedback.
