If not for his inappropriate behavior, John Lassiter would have been remembered for how similar he was to Walt. He was an animator and director, but like Walt, he transitioned to mainly being a leader. Not that Lassiter did not contribute, he certainly did. But he was mainly the leader of the group, overseeing other animators writers and directors at Pixar and later Disney Animation. Jim Henson also comes to mind, as well as Don Bluth, Ron Clements and John Musker, and for theme parks Joe Rohde. Walt was essentially a child at heart, with the motivation and work ethic that almost none can match.
