- Hi all!!! I don't know if I'm happy with the Custom Car Rear Deck Installation! Should I change the design or is it cool enough? I need your help guys! Please comment down below.
The goal is to be able to exhibit at SEMA Show 2023. But first we have to qualify for The Bilsport Performance And Custom Motor Show 2023.

I think black fabric in the box will do a good job of hiding the hole and the sharp edges

I think you should polish some aluminum or add mirrors inside to reflect the aluminum lines and hide the empty box more

@@erickcontreras9322 It has to be done in April next year. First show off in 2023.
You could just make a slot, the width of the cable, from the top of the box to around the middle so you don't have to make a hole big enough for the connector. I hope you understand what i mean :)
I do understand and I have already welded away the big hole and made a slot from the top side.
But I like how we think ha ha.

Angående hatthyllan, vad ska den kläs i? kanske kan klä med samma ner i aluminiumlådan också? Läder med diamantmönster hade nog varit fett annars!

one other idea, would be to chop the top of the box so that it's not so deep. That will lessen the corner visibility. That would then pose an issue with how it's mounted at the bottom, but I imagine some sort of sturdy spacer or 'box below the box' platform for it to still mount properly below the more shallow box. just ideas. more parts means more opportunity for failure of course. looking forward to seeing this beauty get buttoned up for the show. great work so far man!

@@MagassDesign looking at again, I guess the box HAS to be that deep because of the airlift module's height. looking good in the new video with the LED
@@brixvibe That was the biggest challenge, to fit the height of the Manifold. I even had to mill away material on the underside of the beuty panel to make it fit. 🤣
the best option is to probably redo the beauty panel so that it only shows what you want. no sense in going this far in a build and having to compromise on a fixable thing. obviously your call. you'll still wow people with the custom rear deck regardless.
If you don't want to redo it, maybe just put some foam in the corner making the angle 45 degrees,, following the contour of the hardline, or soften it up in other with foam. maybe do something similar that follows the hardline contours on the bottom side as well... then cover with fabric. That's probably what I'd do, so that I wouldn't have to redo the beauty panel. At least foam is cheap and pliable, so you can try out a lot of different looks easily
