Grew up there and went to Purdue. Since I found this channel I always thought this corridor through Lafayette seemed like such a natural place for a rail cam I'm glad they found a spot.

Those Omri gondolas come from Monterrey, Mexico. I went to Mexico for work 3 weeks ago and the job site Omrisource had a yard for those cars and they were loading them with scrap.
@@thelegendchrisbI’m aware, it’s just some spots aren’t as active. I was thinking the Thomasville one would be moved to either charlotte or Greensboro, because there’s alot of more action there.
@@usrails17 Plenty of action in Thomasville. Approx 30 trains per day + Amtrak as well. Not gonna move a location. They're usually permanent once they go online

Awesome spot! You should do some NS cams, like Greensboro NC, or Birmingham AL, stuff like that.
VRF has a couple cams covering NS lines. Horseshoe Curve, Thomasville, NC & Roanoke, VA are some examples
