At least 100 racehorses a year are executed in Ireland for being too slow, so it's always worrying when you hear that horses who have been beaten by miles have died away from the track, as it makes you think they're likely to be one of those said 100. If anyone knows how Qatar Spirit, Lucky Two and Moulane A Chroi died, please let me know because I'd love to be told they had an illness or an accident and weren't murdered for their meat! I see that Shark Hanlon has lost another two horses in unknown circumstances. First it was Fast Medicine a few weeks ago and now Whiskey Rose and Its Lady Kingston, who were both owned by Rachel O'Neill, have died away from the track. I know Shark recently said one of his horses died in their sleep, so perhaps two others did as well!
