Hello Lan, you are an amazing artist and your jewelry is so beautiful! I have been trying to make these chains but the metal gets scratched by the plier. How do you do to not scratch the metal? Thank you.
This is a skill you need to practice a lot. You need to choose an appropriate force to bend the wire, should limit the use of pliers, should use your hands to bend so that the wire is naturally bent and leaves no marks. sometimes unavoidable to leave a mark, you should leave the mark where it is least visible. I translated by google, hope I have the answers you need
I just have 1 Q that from where we can get strong wire because the wire which I use it can be rolled easily just by hand so if I make chain from that wire might not be tight enough so what should I do
Ok people, don't be mad, but these things Lan makes aren't my style at all. For necklace chains, if you have fine hair like I do, the open style links get tangled in my hair and is really uncomfortable. In general I like to work with a bit heavier gauge wire, say 16, 18, 20, sometimes even 14, and solder my links. That being said, I LOVE watching her videos! She is so creative, has great technique and craftsmanship. I can't seem to stay away from here. Just because this isn't my style doesn't mean I can't appreciate the work. Ok, that's it, just had to say it. Enjoy every minute of your making, whatever your style. One last thing - I'm also not a blacksmith but am addicted to watching videos by Black Bear Forge. Again, a top notch artist at his craft.
Thanks for your information. I just give how to make for reference so that everyone has more options for themselves. It's good to be able to find the chain necklace that fits your pendant as well as your other requirements
@@LanAnhHandmade Yes absolutely. Being able to make your own chain to match your pendant is really freeing and satisfying. I do love your work, so I hope my comments didn't offend you. Your videos offer such a creative spark. Thanks.
