100k as fresher or 1-2 years experience, is rare nowadays except from top universities, so if you consider the average of 70K, then i reckon youd get 40-45k in ac, minus the rent 12k, grocery 400*12= 4800, car which is necessary 10k-20k one time, outing 300*12=3600, flight to india - 1600 round way, 45,000-12000-4800-3600-1600= 23000 yearly, and if you consider car, this will be nullified all. So, 19-20 lakhs a year, the loan of 40 will be 50 lakhs by the time ms is done, so considering that, you'll need 1.5 years to cover the loan, you're left with 1.5 years (given you don't get h1b) in that 1.5 year you'll save 30-35 lakhs and return to india, where finding a job will be hectic as many companies in India are not willing to hire foreign grads because of their accustomed corporate culture and high expectation, if one stayed back in india and worked for the same 5 year, he/she'd probably save same amount.
American dream was best before 2020, since then it has been a difficult situation.

Idk what kind of drugs you're on but 100k is not rare at all especially if you're in stem field. And 70 k salary you can get anywhere for example if you live in taxes your in hand salary will be 56k so according to your calculation It will be 34 k savings yearly which is around 29 lakh rupees per year. If they don't get h1b and they have to pay the loan still they are going to comeback with 40 lakh rupees in their account. An avg Indian wont even earn that amount in 5 years let alone saving it cause if 100k is rare in usa than even 10lpa is rare in India. And once worked in Usa nobody would want to work in India they will move to canada or australia or europe. And it they get an h1b the amount they will have in their bank account in 10-12 years, an avg Indian won't even earn that amount in lifetime. You're either very delusional or a fool who thinks 100k is rare for 2 years of work experience in usa but they will be able to save 30-35 lakhs in india in 5 years🤣

Konsi Indian company me you get to save 35L in 5 years after masters, mere bhai? Also you sound like you don't live off a job. Agr job karke koi city me 5 saal me you are saving 35L, you are totally misinformed I'll have to say. In India even after MBA in top tier IIMs you get max 1.5L/m with 1-2y previous experience. In hands after taking into accounts ELSS,PPF every tax exemption options you end up with 1.25L/m. Minus the cost of living 50k-70k/m in cites like Blr, Hyd considering a post MBA lifestyle and assuming a car emi of 15-20k/m with the joining bonus and variables as Downpayment for car and Deposits in apartment and also lets nullify the college fees of 20-25L. So, you end up saving max 60k/m and 7.2L/Y and subtracting travel/trips/special plans 50k/year your remaining balance is 6.7L/y. You have considered 3 years OPT I see, Considering no Home loan and big debts/investments and family commitments in 3years considering a standard 10% hike you get to save 18L-22L in total. And all this with a very average lifestyle with potholes during commute to office , stinky pathetic govt facilities , fraudsters- zero public and govt trust and law and order that protects the rich and powerful even from as cruel rape and murder cases as the RG Kar's.

@@aniketbiswas9885 bro leave him, his mathematics is weak, probably why he is hate commenting out here. The only issue remains is finding a job after graduating these days in the US. I am damn sure working in US for 1.5 years > saving than average job in India, plus the exposure and transformation within you of achieving something on a foreign land will be 100x than the just sitting out in comfort zone, doing a job which pays shit(which is usually the case in India).

I would say there is a very valid point that I never considered, is it really the case that after foreign education and years of work experience, it gets hard to land decent job in India?
I had the complete opposite view, that it would be easier to land good 35-40LPA package, after 4-5 years of foreign work experience!

@@aniketbiswas9885 I have got a 20 lpa after my btech from bits, now I’m in second year of work and already at 24 lpa. If I switch, I’m sure to get around 28/30 lpa. Mere bhai, average distribution mat consider kro, possibilities dekho, and given the experience you get here, it’ll only add into a higher package in USA for a MS later, or a phd.

I did my masters in Australia, it's pretty much the same equation there as well, maybe rent is slightly higher in Sydney.
But the $4000 you save is in AUD so when you convert it to INR it's only 2.2 lakhs, so takes longer to pay back the student loan. Also FANG jobs are rare and even they don't pay more than 180k AUD in Tech.

@@Adithya_26 both are great. USA is better as more IT companies are here and less competition if you are skilled. Many who come here can't even write a single line of code without mistakes.
