Hello, I'm starting my programming journey at school. We use vscode since it's easier to do basic things, but after watching your videos and listening to theprimeagen and his guides, I was blown away.
This makes life so much easier. Not needing a mouse was something I thought of right away, and it looks like nvim and tmux is the answer. I feel like it'll be a couple of weeks to understand both to a basic degree and their plug-ins. Wish me luck.

Thinking to buy a Macbook pro m2, but I don't see much info about C++, CMake, Conan or VCpkg, Zig, C# or Rust.

It's all about what you're comfortable with and what your workflow is like. For me, I work in many different projects (micro-services) in rails. For me, its a lot more comfortable having a tmux session open for anything I'm working on, including CLI/processes. I can just quickly switch between tmux sessions to look at / work on different services, and each session is it's own encapsulated workspace.
That is just how I like to work. Different strokes for different folks, as they say :)
