Kurt on madden there’s a setting called progressive fatigue. It is supposed to make things more realistic, but instead seems to just make your players tired for no reason. I’m pretty sure if you turn that setting off, your players should have full energy for every game!

Last I knew, fatigue was bugged as hell in franchise mode. Something EA did to counter the effectiveness of DB blitzes out of formations like dime and dollar. They wanted to make it so anytime a smaller & lighter defender engaged with a big o-line guy, he'd take a huge fatigue penalty. Problem was, it scuffed fatigue entirely and it was seemingly affecting everyone, so your players would be getting to like red fatigue after 2 or 3 snaps. I don't know if they fixed it, it was so bad at one point that it made playing CFM impossible without turning fatigue off.
Been a minute since I've played so don't know if they fixed it. Def turn progressive fatigue off though and turn the fatigue slider down some.

@@KurtBenkertbetter late than never brother. Before I used to never know how to adjust routes on the line of scrimmage, now you’ve taught me more than that whether it’s actual nfl plays offense or defense and other mechanics in general. Trust me, you’ll do way better as you keep going

A lot of The Kids INTs are coming from really bad footwork. Lot of dancing before some of these throws.
Also, turn off progressive fatigue to avoid tired players at the beginning of games.
I really hate the momentum system in this game. Dolphins have the ball past the two minute warning up 2 and the Pats have full momentum with no timeouts left 🤦♂️

It frequently rewards the opponent anytime they score with the maximum possible momentum for a scoring drive whether it was an long pass DPI in the end zone leading to a one yard running TD or a 19 play grinding drive which breaks the defense’s soul.
Its almost impossible to move the momentum needle back to your side if they keep scoring

The settings are setting you up for failure bro! A few small tweaks will really get you right. Don't go too crazy. Turn the in-game fatigue down a bit, turn progressive fatigue off, and up your catching like 5-10 percent and maybe turn down the opponents catching the same amount. They got them DB's out there looking like pro bowl receivers and we know it's NOT like that IRL. Also maybe turn your blocking up 5-10 percent as well. They got 70 pass rushers out here WORKING your O-line!
Honestly he just needs to reevaluate after shutting off progressive fatigue. That plus the all madden AI made it ridiculous

Weekly strategy big dog. Switch it to half pad practice and adjust each position to “split” so the back ups take more reps in practice. As you go deeper into the season you gotta adjust that.

Also, how you practice before the game affects how they show up stamina wise on gamed day. I usually go half pads or just practice my second string and not worry about the xp boosts.

If you still want to play with progressive fatigue, it really hurts your OL more than anything, but also you have to sub out your receivers and RBs a ton in each game as well. Like the moment you see light blue, I would start rotations.
The other thing too is you have to go into practice and change it so that it's not full pads to half pads and also you can put reps for backups or split. Also, if the game ends with their stamina at yellow, and you go into practice full pads with starters, the following game your team's stamina will always start at yellow and sometimes even red.
If you want to ignore all that, just turn off progressive fatigue.
I just turn that crap off. It was implemented poorly, which is not a surprise given the buggy mess Madden is on a year to year basis

Ight KB, I think you need to see this cuz I got some things I noticed over the last few weeks.
While I agree Madden do be selling you, I think you're just taking unnecessary risks. I agree going for the fake kicks/punts, but we shouldn't be going to 4th down. You seem to be relying too much on Drew. Which is fine in some cases, but it is so predictable. (Ik you're playing a computer, but still). You have other playmakers. For example, Njoku. He has been the most reliable player on the offense the last 3 seasons. He has rarely dropped the ball and seems to be open at the right place and right time. Use your other players.
I like sticking with the run, it's a good idea. Drew's run game is very nice. But when you get to the passing game, that's where are all the problems start.
You are spending wayy too much time in the pocket. Like I don't get it, it actually pisses me off. You KNOW our O line is weak, yet you still try to rely on them. You got to be delusional to think with this O line that you got time. GET THE BALL OUT QUICKER KB. Throw it away if you got to, but them negative yards are killing us. You are also not using as many RPOs as you used to. We were doing much better with more play actions involved. You are taking too many risks in the passing game. And I agree, Madden is selling. But you have power to change that in most cases. Those big chunks play you try to go for, you rely on them too much. Stick them short. Just STOP relying on the O line so much, remember that going to the future.
You should not be throwing games away when you are lapping the opponent. That first game against the Bills was just careless. The second game against the Bills was just Madden selling. The only thing I can say, but I have been saying this for a long time, stick to your strengths. Shallows, Seams, RPOs it worked in the past, but you refuse to utilize them to their max.
Thats all I got KB. A shame that the kid couldn't repeat. Tragic wa the season ended. Just way too many risks. Well, it looks like thats it. Thanks for the ride KB. Keep up the good work king 👑

Bro I feel this so bad rn... me and my buddy work out of town rn and all we do when we get off is play madden and the drops are insane at least 5 a game for me and they are wide open!! Not to mention a te will be open and I throw the ball and it makes him jump for no reason to catch the ball and drops it... Madden is not like it used to be at all to soft mann

But i have played a ton of offensive only and it seems like the other team gets full momentum from farting on the ball.
Once that happens your team turns into drop machines. You have to grind their momentum down and pray your defense holds up.
That dropped pass on the fake punt nearly caused me to use some adult words, but my puppies have already been traumatized too much today with the wicked storm/tornado sirens going off. So I had to resort to making the dreaded face of displeasure.
The dropped passes are insane
If Kurt is struggling to get some completions, imagine what us mere mortals have to go through.

for your abilities use gun slinger for faster throw release and fearless for more accuracte under pressure throws also change your release animation to traditional 4 it'll help trust

Few things I’ve noticed as I’ve watched since season 1. First is your team is young, you don’t have tyreek to clutch up when you need it most. Second manage the clock. I know it may be boring but qb kneel and secure dubs. Plus the o line is Swiss cheese so that needs some work. And run less hurry up to allow your trash line some rest

Sure the wins are tough to come by since the O-line, WR corps, and defense are all competing to prove who can show up the most hungover, but a real Fins fan is tuning in every game for the weekly fake punt attempts.
This is the main reason he is down points consistently. I dont know why you would fake field goal kick in your own 20 yard line but I've never been in the NFL, so there is that

Your team is tired because when you practice you practice full pads, so if you practice half pads and make your bench practice, you will never have that problem
All-Madden just doesnt want the kid to succeed, lemme tell ya. Could be worth looking into sliders to even things out a bit, otherwise the game (especially All-Madden) makes things unfair/unrealistic. Also keep an eye out on weekly practices, doing half-pads/backup reps. Save some juice for the starters! We still believe in the kid!

You probably have your players practicing full pads every week and starters taking all the reps. Go to half pads and split reps and you should be good. You don’t need to change the settings
