I just did a blonde and brown balayage on my 4a natural hair for the first time and for real I told the hairdressers that my hair had been dyed black to cover my grey hairs and it did effect my hair going red and she had to put something in it to take out the red, never knew dying it black can do that as it’s my first time dyed lighter and just wanted to know which conditioning treatments to stay away from that won’t strip the hair colour. My Loctician did my hair. I have red locs i tell people if you don't know what you are doing please go to a professional! I touch up my hair once a year and use red shampoo to keep my hair looking fresh

Purple will look good without bleach if you have dark hair but make sure to mix in a little pink so it is more vibrant
