We called this boiled dinner when I was growing up. Corn beef carrots, onions, cabbage, and potatoes in the crock pot. We still have it 1-3x times a year. One of my favorite meats and meals. I love potatoes any way, but boiled and mashed is probably my favorite, French fries second! Another great video!

I always play a game when watching Joel. I pick a time in which I think Joel will finish. Usually on hour long challenges, I say 25 minutes and Joel usually finishes in 20 minutes. This time, I went with 30 minutes cause that was a lot of food. I believe this is the first time ever he finished way later than my prediction. Still a great feat to finish in under 50 minutes. Great job!!!

Some of the other competitors I’ve seen him come up with have a hard time and either don’t finish or don’t talk. And make the food look nasty while they stuff their mouths. I’ve even seen someone spit food in a napkin to finish and all kinda things. Joel isn’t like them.
Even as my last meal before having to go on the electric chair I would not even be able to finish half of that, and I am one of biggest fan of beef on this planet. Joel is just made different!
I was wishing the whole time they would re-heat it for you at about half way. You can tell the corned beef was getting was too cold at the end. Good job Joel for powering through!
I just got into competitive eating, and I can tell you from the way the food taste if I’ll be able to finish it or not .. although, I haven’t done a challenge this big, the taste of the food matters drastically.

I love a point cut corned beef with my favorite rub and slow cooked for about 12 hours. Then served with fried cabbage and bacon, carrots, and small baby potatoes.
Cows are the absolute best! They do so much for us! Everything dairy is hands down, some of the best foods on the planet! Let alone beef everything!!! Corned beef is up there with ribeye and beef ribs! I could eat corned beef everyday and never get tired of it! That was phenomenal that you ate all of that Joel!
