That was certainly an unexpected but oh so charming way to open up this video. I'm probably going to get around to playing this game at some point this year (though most likely on Switch) but I was curious about how it holds up for the new Xbox Series version. 0:58 - The Capcom chart here makes for an interesting read. Dragon's Dogma has done pretty well for itself considering it only consists of two games. A shame no Power Stone, yet also unsurprising. 3:34 - The Wirebug was such a cool idea. It already had a solid concept for it's traversal abilities but it's neat to see how it is utilised in the combat scenarios. 5:17 - It would actually be kind of cool to play the game with that Sepia filter on. It goes nicely with the older Asian building aesthetic.
I love monster hunter games and I loom forward to this, just frustrating with Japanese games that they give you hours of filler before you can jump into the action
Three things. Go to Senri. He is the Palico standing on the crate near the stairs going up to Elder Fugen. This is how you create lobbies. Go to the hub and talk to Minoto. Minoto is the one you can start multiplayer quests through. If you had those two things down already then what you need to do is have the accompanying player go to the quest board located right next to Minoto. At that board is where any additional players can agree to join the posted quest and then you can all depart either together or they can join in whenever they’re ready. Hopefully I helped you out 👍
you could also create/invite people to a hunter connect so you dont need to create new lobbies everytime you play. its in the courier which is the palico in the middle of the village standing on a red box.
It has been fun to play for a few hours but it slowly gets boring going in hunt after hunt. Sometimes the graphics look nice but overall you once you see the world's you can tell its from switch as its so pixilated. Some monsters feel underpowered, and others feel way overpowered. Combat is clunky and slow. Not a big fan, glad I didn't pay for it.
Honestly this is a huge disappointment on so many levels. It's not even close to holding a candle to World. All we got was a switch port they scaled up the textures on. I'm just going to wait and play Wild Hearts next month. It's sad but I actually could put more faith into EA doing something good vs whatever sad excuse this was. All those years ago we asked for Crossplay and another game like World and we got this instead.
You shouldn't have much faith in Wild Hearts. It doesn't even have any depth to its armor skill system. Like... each skill is outright one point and each armor piece has a single skill. At that point, its not s hunter game its just a regular action game with lose MH inspiration

You haven’t even played rise once and know nothing about the monsters. It has so many new features and new monsters. It’s so incredibly stupid of you to disregard it like that. World babies are on another level of idiocy.
Lmao all I read was "GrApHiCs BaD" you're obviously not a Monster Hunter fan, go ahead and wait for Wild Hearts which BTW it comes from a failed PS Vita franchise.
I think it is growing and Xbox should invest heavily in growing in this country, maybe opening a couple of Xbox Japanese studios. PlayStation's been my main platform for a while(+Nintendo for handheld), Japanese games being a big part of that decision. Personally glad to see more Japanese games on Xbox, and hope to see more.

Opinion respected, reccomend playing with friends and actually experimenting with armour, buffs, weapons/weapon combos, PLAYING WITH FRIENDS

Got bored of it after the third quest glad it’s on game pass sad it’s another boring game. For me that is anyway.
