In this video we will show you how to assemble a 13/16" curtain rod that extends from 120-170". This size comes in 3 pieces and it telescopes within itself to achieve the 120 to 170 inches.
We also show how to install finials into the included finial inserts. This assembly video also applies to 5/8" rods (size 84-120") and 1" rods (size 120-170")

You sound just like Mark Wahlberg!
Once I extend it to the length I need, how do I make the rods stay at the length I need?
One person used double sided tape to hold the rods to the brackets
When opening my curtains it pulls the rod out of the extender and rod comes apart and curtain falls. How can I make sure it stays in when opening my curtains.????
Hopefully you got it figured out by now....but it sounds like there should be another piece that goes into the hole of the rod so that it will make the extension piece stable, not able to move. In other words, the extra piece would make the opening just a bit smaller so that you won't have the extension piece slipping around when you open/shut your curtains. I understand what you are describing and it would be frustrating.
I'm having the same problem 😭
thanks!
I put up a ‘3 rod ‘ configuration today. But it is too long, no instructions on how to shorten the length. What is the cure ???
I would like all of the curtains to close on one side and can the rods support say 108" x 129" extra-long curtains without a center support?
Ryan 😍
Can you come over to my home for installation?
Don't the curtain rings get caught/snag where the two rods meet?
