I've never painted anything as far as picture . And I was given a canvas so I decided to just Google winter scenes and I came across your page I am now painting a picture of the little cabin scene with the pine trees in the back that was posted last week I ran into a little bit of problem and now my trees are a little bit bigger I'm not sure what to do with the picture it looks good and I like it and I was thinking about combining another picture that you have with a winter water seane so I've been re-watching these two clips trying to get the feel of the colors but for my very first picture ever painting I'm taking my time with it but it's looking really good I like it and I will continue to try to paint I'm not only surprising myself but I find it very calming and I just wanted to let you know I enjoy that s new found hobby thank you for the tutorials. I was so excited to learn how to paint and I was giggling like crazy I am so enjoying this.
Aw that's great you're having so much fun painting! It sounds like you're really challenging yourself and that is a great thing for learning. Keep going!
I work for Wee Forest Folk. We used the satin glazing, added to airbrush colors .Also, when we paint something very small, an embellishment, it slows down the drying so that the lines or dots or shapes, are smoother.
Hi Katie. I love your art vlogs!! I was wondering can you make a video on how to sell through Etsy and how to use the SEO and the right keywords specifically for paintings? I've had my Etsy shop open for 2 years now (the first year I only had 2 listings and didn't do much work on it in terms of SEO) but the second year from 2023 onwards I added a lot more listings and did my research in terms of which keywords, product descriptions, titles, tags to use and I still have zero sales. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Can you please do an in depth video on how to sell through Etsy please?
