Robinson, Ewing, Malone, Barkley, and Drexler would outplay Boozer, Prince, Bosh, and Wade.

The 1992 team was more fundamentally sound, played physical, and the NBA rules were more similar to FIBA rules. They would totally destroy the 2012 team and the 2024 team. Modern NBA players don't do well against physical defense and they don't play 5 man ball. They either focus iso, a 2 man style, and sometimes explore a 3rd option.
@CurtisT1019 I started watching the NBA in 1979. I watched Magic and Bird, and followed Jordan and Drexler from North Carolina and Houston to the pros. I loved the Dream Team and Dream Team II. But the idea that they would destroy the 2012 team or even the 2024 team is pure fantasy. I don't know who would win, but I know it wouldn't be a blowout for either side.

Some countries can now field an entire NBA starting lineup. I don't know who would win a hypothetical game between the 1992 and 2012 or 2024 teams, but it wouldn't be a blowout for either side.

He has played a combined 12 games in the NBA for the Dallas Mavericks, Chicago Bulls and Denver Nuggets and he averaged 2 points per game. The rest of the South Sudan team were D1 level players. In addition, their county is relatively new and their basketball program is still in development. They don't even have indoor courts. Yet, they almost won an exhibition game against the US and only lost by 17 points yesterday, without the same big names or a deep bench. Competition does matter, but so does style of play and heart.

Scottie Pippen, Michael Jordan, David Robinson all top 10 all-time Defensive players. Who on 2012 team is top ten Defensive player. Im waiting. Barkley, Stockton, Malone, Ewing, Magic, Drexler, all great defenders. Mullen was good defender. Only defensive liabilities were Bird (back injury) and Laettner and they didn't need to play at all really. For those of us who actually saw all the games back in 92, the biggest mismatch in our favor was Barkley. The world was shocked at how dominant he was, and mostly he was unknown outside the US.
