Wise words, a single material with great lighting can be awesome, while great materials/textures still look bad with bad lighting. This is also true for my animated show I want to publish soon. Which was supposed to recreate the look of the 90s videogames - but those systems had barely any lighting capabilities. Which was a big reason, why I ditched to recreate this look and went with my own. It would be a waste to have these incredible tools to our hands and not using their possibilities.
