The difference between Robo and Trent are their attitude towards the game. Robby was running nonstop and trying his best but Trent looked like his head and heart are somewhere els.
Because we win a lot of matches, it’s easy to look past Trent’s casual nature on the field. E.g. Jogging back on defense, not tracking his attackers, and just his general lack of urgency on his defensive responsibilities. But today it really hurt us when it was important to get the 3 points after Chelsea and Arsenal dropped points. I’ve been saying this since last season; I want to keep Trent but we’ll be just fine without him if he leaves. We have Bradley, who I believe is ready to step up as our starting RB. It’ll make our back line much more defensively sound.
Lets be honest amorim got his tactics spot on and in as much i agree too trent never showed any fight for the team slot was the one who played him higher than his position he should have Just left him at rb cause anytime we lost ball it immediately went to that side.And konate was rushed to the team he looked slow and lethargic and he was unable to help trent like he usually did .So i blane the manager on this game mostly than players.Lets hope the team learns that we cant be complacent cause i am sure teams are gonna come to anfield and play like utd did.
We missed Endo. Endo and Gravenberch could have been our double pivot to choke up Utd's midfielders, freeing up Macca to go up front into his favoured advance role. Endo would have provided the much needed cover in the deeper positions and Gravenberch could tidy up and bring the ball forward. I felt so bad for Konate who was made to cover for Trent's absence.
Trent’s struggles have always been there. Konate has always supported him along with Gravenberch dropping deep. However in cases where a good team uses the width well then the pivots cannot offer support to the individual full backs and then they are on their own. And if the full back is not strong or the opponent managed to wiggle out of the full back it gives pressure to the center forwards which means the opponent is already in the box creating scenarios which are unwanted. So the solution is to just read the game and make decisions early. Otherwise have a good full back who is very defensive and can also run like an arrow and for Liverpool, down that flank, it is Conor Bradley. But this means we sacrifice the creativity and beautiful passes by Trent. If you asked me I would rather have good full backs and then have good wingers who can receive from the center forwards or middle of the park players….by the way, not in disrespect to Konate, this is why Joe Gomez would have suited this game well. He knows how to do center back and full back and he works hard like a horse EDIT: My last comments mean that Trent is allowed to pursue his adventure at Real Madrid where he can probably do more and we need to have another approach down that flank. Heck we may also need to decommission Robertson because he has critical moments of lapse which costed us a lot. I noticed he also failed to defend the first Man U goal
Last season, Klopp overhauled our midfield. Now, Slot needs some fixing on our backline. Otherwise, we'll bottle the title in the end. Fortunately, we have no problems on our frontline.

Manu has their tactics spot on. Attacking TAA was a great strategy because Ibou was making his return. TAA has more errors than Robertson this season and its every season. After Gakpo's Goal, he should be substituted instead of Diaz not because Gakpo was bad but for a tactical one. Diaz is good at dribbling and takes more one on one which could have resulted more opportunities. Fatigue is taking over Liverpool and needs signing in January, a CB and midfielder will help.
I know he's one of the best in his positions, but at his age? Wouldn't you be looking for someone younger with more future value? Also you have to be careful that Liverpool doesn't become a Dutch enclave with Gakpo, Gravenberch and van Dijk already there.

Trent was aweful, and Robbo his usual below average self this year. VVD was so pissed with Trent. Jones invisible. Grav and Macca were beasts. Poor Grav was marking 2 players when Trent strolled for one of the goals. Never play Trent again until he signs or leaves. Bradley time. Bring Owen Beck back for left back.
Trent had a horrible game and i think we might actually be better off without him in the future. Great player on the ball, but he needs to improve off the ball and defensively.
Trent's defensive mistakes are worth only when his offensive output is great. He has had great defensive games, and we all know he's amazing offensively. But in this particular game he was nowhere.
Liverpool just weren't as lethal as we've come to expect from them and trent had a shocking game. United played like a prime Everton team, proper relegation football. There is no real takeaway from this game for any team and I definitely wouldn't get my hopes up if I were a United fan. Lets not forget that the playing conditions were also terrible which heavily favors the more defensive teams.

Dalot was given freedom to roam and when garnacho came on it was already too late- robbo still suspect when it came to marking the United equaliser but we had been scoring 4-5 goals and the 1 mistake by robbo won’t have mattered but it’s games like this when you know we need to start really talking about Andy.
