Imagine being mimir. You're in your personal valhalla and all of a sudden you get transported to being beneath your friend's ass as he has reached an emotional milestone.
Mimir: We're done here then. So, uh...what now?" Kratos: Now? I believe I would like to sit here for a while. The little smirk Mimir gives after hearing Kratos say that is so good. He is so proud of his "brother."
Especially if, like I assume, Sony/SM just took a loss in order to pay their devs and voice actors (performance artists) to work on it. Can you imagine any other corp saying "Hey, let's make a AAA product and not charge for it", knowing the entire fanbase would happily pay $15-20 for it?
Kratos pose after walking out of Valhalla is the same image from new shrine. This journey good enough to make grown masculine men cry!! Cant wait for the next step of the journey, hopefully going to Egypt! 👀
After that monologue hit like it did, when Kratos turned around and his old self wasn't there anymore, I smiled and said out loud to myself "he's gone..." and cried like a baby, lol.
@@franingegnieri1831 in gow ragnarok, Mimir was called "Puck", which is a character of Shakespeare's play named A Midsummer Night's Dream. There is also some hints about the existence of a sort of Shakespearean universe with Mimir as one of the characters in it.
When you started God of War 1 and didnt know what type of game it will be, I was already visualizing your reaction to when Old Kratos talks to his younger self here but somehow your actual reaction even surpassed my expectations. GG Kali GG Kratos
Kratos might be one of the most well written characters in all of gaming… the monologue at the end was incredible and mature yet relatable. Idk how Santa Monica pulled it off but well done…. I knew you’d love the ending.
The Journey ends for now..Atleast for Kratos, The God of Hope. I love that Kratos started to talk to his past self as a father telling himself what he needed to hear
When the camera zooming in into kratos’ face while he say you are more than that, its like he say that to us to players, we may be dumb and arrogant when we a child but becoming adult we understand that why we are arrogant and dumb. Man this DLC is making me cry a river oh and congratulations kali for finishing god of war saga. Now we wait for either remake or continuation of this saga 🙏🫶🏻
_"You are cruel, and arrogant, and selfish... But you are more than that. You have _*_always_*_ been more than what others saw. You are more than that."_ I can't help but feel that this was the developers directly responding to all the journalists and naysayers who dismiss Kratos in the original Greek games as nothing more than a shallow, one-dimensional, murderous rage monster, and claim that he only gained depth and complexity to his character once the Norse games came around. It always frustrates me whenever I see people spewing this complete and utter misunderstanding of Kratos' character and the original Greek games as a whole, as it could not be further from the truth. There are videos on RUclips covering this common misconception and debunking these claims, but seeing the developers themselves actually kind of doing it really does bring a smile to my face. Much like Kratos... it gives me hope. Anyway, ranting aside, I really did enjoy watching this journey through Valhalla. My super busy work schedule these days means I unfortunately don't have the time to keep up with playthroughs of full games (I miss the days when work didn't consume my life...), but due to Valhalla's shorter length, I don't have as much to keep up with and have a bit more freedom to experience the whole thing with people, which is why I'm always on the lookout for Valhalla playthroughs in particular. Thanks for this! It was just the break from my tedious and mundane work life that I needed! 😄
Not much i can say but just feel proud of Kratos. Growing up with him and seeing him grow has been amazing. And if they ever do decide to continue his story i can't wait to see it
From a vengeful god of war to a calm and discipline god of hope Kratos is literally the definition that something good can come out of something bad what a beautiful conclusion ❤
Glad that they used this DLC to show us just exactly what the real Tyr is like: Exactly what the stories described: A mighty God of War of unmatched skill, virtue, wisdom and benevolence. A perfect, emotional ending to Kratos. Thank you God Of War!!
My expectations on the next GoW game are: I want to cry at least half than in the previous game. Thanks for the playthrough, you really added a lot with your thoughts and charisma. It was a great journey. "There is no forgiving you, you chose!, I chose..."
No need to apologize for shedding tears Kali, I felt the same way since we have been journeying along with Kratos for so long, all this time sharing his experiences. For me, its kind of like a modified Groot's line: "We are Groot" to "We are Kratos"👍 .
What a fitting way, not only to end this game and DLC, but your entire time in this franchise. Every event from every game Kratos experienced up to this point coming together. Finally truly facing his past, understanding that which he was, and that which he no longer is. As you said so eloquently in your outro, that our past, our darkness, no longer has to define us, and the choice lies within ourselves to step into that light, and be the version of ourselves that we never could have thought possible. I think this is a great time for each and every one of us here to take a deep breath, look in the mirror, and be proud of ourselves for everything we have been through and grown through to be where we are now in this very moment I know I've said this many times, but thank you, thank you, thank you for this whole series of playthroughs, and for doing such incredible justice to these games. You put so much of yourself, so much love, into these playthroughs, and it really shows. Both the games themselves, and now your playthrough of them too, will forever hold a special place in my heart. For everything they've taught me, all the emotions, and everything they got me through this year. I don't know what to do with myself now that there will be no more Kali God of War in my life haha.. it had become such an integral part of pretty much this entire year thus far for me. But with this door closing, a new door of many new adventures on your channel opens that I'm really excited for!
Thank you so so much for the very generous super! And for being a fan since day 1! 🤣🥹 This journey with Kratos was so beautifully done and one that i'll definitely miss playing on the channel. But like you said, this DLC was definitely the best way to close out our time in the God Of War series! And even though i'm still having mixed feelings about being done with it all, I also can't wait to see where the next game goes 🏜️🐴 Thank you for all your love and support to this channel! I'm so glad that this series has been a bright light in your day and hopefully the next series can be the same! ☺️💚
I’m speaking from experience, but I think that men who struggle with depression because of their own mind should really listen to the words of Kratos. There IS hope.
Is it possible to feel proud of a fictional character? 😂 Besides Kratos getting his happy ending, can we appreciate how they did Týr justice. Kratos gets his own sparring buddy, and one who can match him. This multi mythology badass wields four different weapons & more than lives up to his legends. This DLC was a friendly reminder that Týr is a *god* but a kind and wise one at that. He’s who Kratos needed back in Greece, not Ares.
You can't say this will be your last time in God of War, you will always have the free will to replay all of them and come back to all of them when ever you want. So it's never the end of God of War. You've experienced an incredible game. That many of us love. Replaying them means as much as playing them for your first time and there will alphas be new things to discover. One might say. You'll pass on the torch to your children when they're ready. Loved your playthrough to all of the God of War's. I am sad though that you couldn't fully experience Ghost of Sparta and Chains of Olympus. They are worth playing. Take Care, can't wait for more.
A lot of people were disappointed that young Kratos didn't get any lines here or be a boss battle but I think it was better this way. Glad you enjoyed the God of War journey so much. It was a blast to watch
Fighting him would defeat the entire point. You’re not supposed to hate him, or “beat” him. The goal is to accept him and recognize that they’re the same person.
Glad to have been following your god of war series from the beginning. It’s a bittersweet feeling I know. March 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of the original god of war and from what I heard Santa Monica is cooking up something special for us, I hope to see your reaction/ playthrough for whatever comes next. In other news for Valhalla there is plenty of stuff, kratos and mimir talk about regarding: kratos’ first family, the boat captain, some of kratos’ siblings, and new areas like Hercules’ forum ( god of war 3) the desert of lost souls (god of war 1) plus there is more cutscenes and lots to be said between sigrun and mimir. All of this Of course can be done whenever on your personal time when not busy with red dead. Thank you for everything it’s been a honour to follow your journey!
Our journey is now over. We really had a lot of fun. The only bad thing about God of War is that it ends. Now we will look to the future with Atreus. thank you kali
We’ll probably get both. A game with Atreus as he finds the giants, and a game with Kratos as a true god of war, as one that protects the Norse realms from outside threats. I think a lot of the side quests with Freya really built up the idea that Kratos will learn to care about “his” people, and will fight to protect rather than destroy.
I remember when I was just a child who does not understand any dialogue of it but still used to play it repeatedly back in 2006-07 🥹 No game can replace the place in my heart which GoW has made ❤ I was with you Kali throughout of your journey of GoW and I'll be again whenever you play replay or react on GoW 😊 I truly enjoyed your playthrough, your emotions towards these games and Kratos, It's hard to say Goodbye :( take care Kali. I'll miss you playing God of War
Your whole GoW series has been an absolute pleasure to watch! You've been as attentive, invested, skilled, emotional, and simply genuine as one could ever ask as a watcher, so thank you for sharing your journey with us! It was lovely re-living certain moments of the games again and even crying "together" at some of them. I have and definitely will come back to some of the episodes to experience them again! Thank you again and can't wait to see more content from you!
Beautiful franchise. Amazing how we went from "I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!!" to "I am your Monster No Longer." The growth in this character still amazes me because I loved the vengeful Kratos. When i finished the DLC i thought where is this franchise going to go next? An Atreus solo game? Kratos, Mimir, and Freya in another land exploring? Whichever direction they go we'll be waiting (impatiently).
Yeah this DLC was just amazing. Its still bonkers to me that this was free. I would've paid a full 30 bucks for how amazingly designed this was. Both in gameplay and story, this packed a punch. A true milestone in Kratos' journey, having empathy for himself, and pledging himself in service, having hope rather than hatred. I've said it before, but man do I really like Týr! Man is a literal therapist and the equivalent of Kratos' boxing partner 😅 the more you see and hear his wisdom, the more it makes sense why people revere him so. He did fight for peace, but not in that awful, cowardly way Odin portrayed him. Not for recording, but if you ever just want to relax, theres quite a bit more dialogue in here, stories, and some fun gameplay secretive stuff to see in Valhalla. This is such a fun DLC and I'm so happy you enjoyed it Kali!
this dlc was everything we, fans of gow, needed 💛 it was like a kind hug at the end to this character we love, not full solutions, but hope for a kinder path towards himself. so glad you played everything!!!!
I am so glad you completed this journey. It's one of the best in all of gaming. As for future installments, I suspect that the next game will follow Atreus and will involve the origins of the mask and the "other side". I think that Sindri will probably set things in motion that will threaten Atreus and it would only be after recieving word of this would Kratos get involved. It will also most likely be centered around another pantheon.
You have my favorite God of War reaction videos by far. Thank you so much for bringing us along the journey with you. These games are by far my favorite of all time and will always have a place in my heart. The next adventure awaits in RDR2. Get your saddles and cowboy hats ready 🤠
thank you so much for the super! the God Of War games have definitely become my favorite after completing this series. I'm glad you loved them as much as I did! 💚
What an amazing journey! And I can say you have experienced the big part of it, taking your time to do side quest and even watch about the games you couldn't buy. That last part of Valhalla's dlc I take it even as a self reflection, because we are who we choose to be and like Týr said, is up to us to do it by the right or the wrong path. I recommend you to play the dlc some times more from where you left, because it has pretty interesting quotes of Kratos and Mimir. As always Kali it was a pleasure to follow you through this journey, maybe we say goodbye to GoW in the channel, but we have a lot of journeys more to come. Keep going! Love ya'
This DLC itself was way better than the main game. I just want a Kratos game and this delivered and brought up so many emotions because of the journey I took with him through the years. I’d love more of his past to be apart of the games. Including Athena.
In our lives we all need a Confidant like Mimir and a friend like Tyr. Like I mentioned earlier, One God of War Broke Kratos and another one built him back. I dont know what to say Kali, this entire GOW saga on your channel was a wild ride, I will be sticking around to watch u play other games which I have already played, RDR2 for sure. I am excited about Raising Kratos on Sunday and if possible Untangling GOW I also cannot appreciate and commend the end credits music, seeing the Nordic rendition of Greek Kratos lyrics made me cry, when the credits rolled I stood up and clapped because I am proud of my man Kratos. I feel like I spent this life with him, I am so proud of you my man.
I can't tell you how close I was to clapping but I didn't want to be that person 🤣🤣🤣 if I was alone, I 100% would have stood up clapped and cried lol I can't wait to watch the documentary! i'll see you there!
i believe the toy he brings during the end dialogue could be Pandora, knowing that's where we really saw the beginning of the change of who he is now. the fact that this DLC was free and we cried this hard is just PERFECTION. im still mad this did not win game of the year
A beautiful story of redemption. Those who have done and said enough to hurt many can relate and understand what it is to WANT that redemption and forgiveness. To know the weight of the pain you have caused and knowing that everyone was effected by your decisions and rash behavior is hard to accept. It is natural for us to become hermits and not face the true nature of our ugly selves. Kratos finally understood repentance and forgiveness. They did Kratos justice with this DLC. Just as Kratos is so much more than an cruel, arrogant and selfish individual, so are we. And I hope we can all walk away with that lesson. Awesome job, Kali! Thank you for having the gift of empathy and allowing yourself to be vulnerable during this journey. And no worries about the ugly crying as we all ugly cried already and with you during this.
Been following since you started from the og gow games and following the entire series makes this moment mean so much more. Awesome video! I may have showed up for gow but I'll stick around since you've grown on me
No I don’t want it to be over 😭 I really loved your journey through God of War series thank you for showing so much care and interest while playing these games. Well at least there are and will be other playthroughs to watch from you
It was great to be able to see you play and fall in love with this story, and to see that from the first games, it had a lot of history and strong feelings. Thanks for showing this to everyone here on RUclips!
Well your tears certainly had me 😢 such an amazing franchise . I can never do enough how this is my favorite franchise of all time and it was so cool to follow your journey through it ❤❤
WOW! What a journey from Ancient Greece to the 9 Realms ending in Valhalla, loved every moment and I know I’m a broken record 👀🤣but especially with the way you approach the lore & your deep understanding of that and the characters be it Kratos or the supporting ones, Well Done👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. Congrats on completing Kratos entire story Kali 🥳. Looking forward to seeing your new adventures into the Wild West next 🫡🤠, LFG 💛😊!
Not gonna lie, even I'm sad you're ending this series on your channel! I looked forward to your emotionally intelligent commentary and analysis and predictions for these games every other day and you're thorough gameplay style... your playthrough has become my all-time favorite and it's not even close, Ive never seen anyone connect to Kratos and feel the emotional beats the way you did, you constantly made me tear up with basically every upload too 😂 It's the end for now but I'll be sticking around for your commentary on every game from now on and I'll be looking through the channel backlog. There's still plenty of emotional depth and amazing storytelling left to experience in games, I promise!
Awwwww man am enemy right at the climax of the boat captain story.😭😂 ain't that always how it be. If you're not ready to leave God of war, ik I would love to see you do one final run in Valhalla to see you finish the dialogue! Or maybe react to a cutscenes video (: But honestly, if not, your playthrough and journey has been so damn fun. You beat Tyr on a higher difficulty than me but in the same number of tries 😓🫠. Love how much better you get and that you actually listen to people's advice! Really awesome seeing you know nothing about GoW and becoming a diehard fan like the rest of us 🙏🏻. I subbed for GoW but definitely will be staying 😤
Congratulations on reaching the end! Valhalla was an incredible epilogue to Kratos' journey (thus far). I heard there were hopes to have a conversation between Kratos' younger self and present self in that last cutscene but the original voice actor was unavailable and Christopher Judge refused to play younger Kratos out of respect for him. I think they still did a fantastic job with that closing monologue in having Kratos come to terms with and finally fully accept his past. I'll never understand anyone who thinks Kratos becoming a god of hope is a bad thing - it's honestly the biggest and best redemption of a video game character I think I've ever seen. I love Kratos more than I ever hated him now. It's worth seeing the rest of that boat captain conversation for yourself wherever you can find it, in general I'd recommend doing a few more runthroughs of Valhalla to get a bit more of Kratos and Mimir's regrets and resulting conversations, but if I remember right the main thing you missed was Kratos' closing summary of the whole situation which is a pretty raw line: _"He was just a man afraid for his life. But the hydra was just an animal; I showed him what a real monster looks like."_ You could never have guessed back when that first level was first played that that moment with boat captain would go on to have that deep a regretful retrospective from Kratos. It's kind of humourously incredible.
"Place myself in service? In service..." I can understand Kratos' hesitation there. He placed himself in service to Ares and it led to him getting tricked into killing his wife and daughter, he placed himself in service to the other gods of Olympus in the hopes of ridding himself of his memories and nightmares and it led to him being made into a god forced to live for eternity with those memories and nightmares. Which in turn led to his revenge and the destruction of Greece. Who wouldn't hesitate when being asked to place themselves in service again?
All the emotive earnestness you experience is what makes your channel special. That aside; the way your shirt creases makes it look like it says 'HIRBOLOGY' and I keep wanting to ask who Hirb is and why he gets an whole -ology to himself.
Awesome playthrough and thanks for letting us enjoy your journey. Would luv to see you go through the old gears of war games for your old game playthroughs
Thank you for an amazing playhtrough even if I didn't watch the videos of the older games (I want to play through them on my own without spoiling myself) I love it when I fall in love with one of your series then I have something to look forward to after my lunch nap or after work Like these past few weeks I've been looking forward to mondays, wensdays, fridays and sundays of for no other reason to watch your videos. "I'm trying not to ugly cry...." giirl you were way past that already 🤣
If you go back to 2018 and look at Týr's panel, the one that was in Odin's library/vault that Kratos and Atreus ended up in when they escaped Helheim, there's four symbols in each corner of the panel that are symbols for war in different cultures there's an Egyptian symbol, Japanese symbol and Greek not sure the other one and when you fight Týr he uses the Samurai sword, (Japanese), the Khopesh (Egyptian), the spear (Greek) and the Macuahuitl (Aztec), it's cool how he uses the weapons from the places he's visited and then remember when you free Týr he says "he knows you from somewhere", wonder if the next game will be taking us to any of those cultures, you should definitely replay 2018 and Ragnarok again you'll pick up on so much stuff you didn't realize your first time. Great series play through Kali can't wait for more games!
I know you already finish the series but I believe there is still much more stories and memories to tell in Valhalla and also a secret ending with Mimir and Sigrun. Of course if you want to play it all by yourself it's okay, the importance is just that you know about that and Kratos talking about more of his past. I'm just saying this because I'm still playing the DLC after the main story (Therapy) and I'm so amazed on how much there is to find out and it's so rewarding and nostalgic too. I just saw some people pointing out some secret ending and Kratos with Freya talking to each other more. So glad you enjoyed this saga and I hope you'll get to make more good content like that. It's so nice to watch someone that really enjoy with passion and go through alongside with us ❤. Can't wait for more of your playthrough Kali!
Can't wait for the documentary I'm enjoying your channel at first I was like eh she's kinda boring but honestly I kept watching and started acting loving the channel keep up the good work and can't wait for your future videos🔥🔥🔥
In your Raising Kratos video, you mentioned how you’d want to visit Valhalla every now and again to continue working on your combat and controller skills, so I remembered a tip I wanted to give you, and figured I’d come leave it here in case it would be helpful to you haha. So when it comes to changing weapons during combat, and being able to still move Kratos around, it could be really helpful to practice learning left-hand-claw. So basically you hold the controller and play as normal, but when you want to switch weapons, in that moment you slightly rotate your left wrist and shift your grip so your index finger curls down into a c-shape to press the d-pad with the tip or it’s side. This allows you to keep your thumb on the left stick at all times and not lose any momentum with Kratos while you’re fighting as you switch weapons. Would also be very helpful in the Gna fight in being able to quickly switch arrows to interrupt her attacks. It’s a more advanced technique for sure, but if you’re spending some quality time training in Valhalla, it 100% could be worth trying out and seeing if it’s for you. I do the same thing in so many other games like Resident Evil, The Last of Us, and others that all have you use the d-pad during combat to switch weapons and items. Putting a bit of work in now to develop this skill, could greatly benefit your controller journey in the future. Hope this helps!
hi kali, one detail I think you will find interesting is that when you stun an enemy- yellow R3 symbol means you will stun grab the enemy without killing it, but if the R3 symbol is red it means you will kill it. I recommend hitting a stunned enemy if they show yellow mark until it becomes red so you can finish him
1:59:58 The way Kratos looks at his/Faye's axe. It's almost like he is saying "Thank you" to her for helping to get him to this place. For helping him see that he deserves Hope.
What an absolutely wonderful journey this has been to experience with you, loved all of your reactions, especially to the amazing arc kratos has been through. Also if you want another action and story driven series to play that's out of your usual comfort zone, i recommend the insomniac spider-man games.
The goodbye. Ahh I remember it like it was yesterday. I can’t wait for the next installment in the franchise. Seeing Kratos reflect on the upbringing of Magni and Modi is great actually. During the game Atreus asks Kratos why he didn’t raise him like a spartan was raised. And Kratos told him that he didn’t feel like had to raise Atreus that way. I’m sure he would of turned out like Magni and Modi. Helios has no bases. Because Kratos didn’t know about the evils of the box until the end of God of War 3 when Athena divulged that information. As a matter of fact all he know up until then was that the “power to kill a god.” Was what was stored in the box. That last fight with tyr was insane. He kicked my ass 4-5 times before I could beat him lol. His last weapon had to be a Katana too. To his story on how he’s able to be in Valhalla without dying. There was a Reddit post that noticed Tyr had Egyptian symbols on his arm. So they deduced that he may have gone to Egypt and had help from the gods their in helping him regrow his arm in their underworld. It’s far fetched but I liked it lol. I do like they they use this dlc to setup Kratos as a god of hope. I wish they had got TC Carson to be able to speak during for the younger Kratos during that speech. It was and wonderful and I’m glad Kratos got the send off he deserved.
I've been watching your videos since the beginning of the GOW series. I played almost all of them again a while back, but for some reason I stopped midway through Ragnarok and watched all your videos still, lol. I want to play again, but now since it's been I while I might have to start over since I forgot how to play. Anyways your playthrough of GOW was gold, don't worry about being too emotional. RPG games in general always have such a more deep and rich kind of story telling then any movie or show, since games put so much detail in their development. Thats why I love RPGs so much. GOW is awesome and easily one of my favorites, but Mass Effect is still my very top favorite :). Bt the way, you play WOW? That's so cool. I am thinking about playing it again. I did play the latest expansion a little bit (not the one coming out), but I got tired from it after that.
thank you for watching this entire series!! and I agree with a close call between GOW and Mass Effect being my favorites right now too lol. I did start playing WOW again recently! It's been fun but a lot to learn
P.S. A lot of people don't catch it, understandably, but when Kratos walks out of Valhalla with the axe on his shoulder? That's the scene from the cabinet. A God of Hope.
2:04:45 I know you see this a lot in your comments, but once more couldn't hurt. PLEASE do not apologize for being emotional or being yourself, ever. Your honest and heartfelt reactions are the reason I've come back time and time again to watch you experience some of my favorite games. To re-experience them through your eyes, and feel those emotions vicariously through you. Thanks for all the hours of entertainment and emotion you've given to me and your other viewers. ❤ I'm gonna go start your Witcher 3 playthrough now! Somehow, I didn't notice you had played that one already.
Such an amazing reaction to an incredible dlc I admit when I heard it was gonna be a roguelite which I'm not the biggest fan of I was worried but now I found out if a rogue lite has awesome writing like this then I may very well like them after all. The ending was excellent and I'm glad you enjoyed the entire franchise.
i'm about to start my replay of Ragnarok since I was gifted an amazing playstation controller for christmas! I can't wait to get into this DLC again. so much love was clearly put into it- thank you!
Imagine being mimir. You're in your personal valhalla and all of a sudden you get transported to being beneath your friend's ass as he has reached an emotional milestone.
LOL stopppppp
It's funnier because Kratos was sitting so Mimir went from looking at a nice forest to just staring at a rock
Kratos is the best character ever made in gaming history, too legendary.
I hope they continue their journey
I agree
Mimir: We're done here then. So, uh...what now?"
Kratos: Now? I believe I would like to sit here for a while.
The little smirk Mimir gives after hearing Kratos say that is so good. He is so proud of his "brother."
The fact that it was a free dlc that we got was amazing.
Just imagine being able to face your former self in real time. They did so good with this DLC.
it was done SO well!
I think Mimir's Valhalla is him reliving the "A Midsummer Night's Dream" time period of his life.
Whats that??
@@franingegnieri1831 a shakespeare play about fairies and sex
You also have to note that it was simply an incredible feeling to hear the soundtrack of the old trilogy. Truly gave me goosebumps.
yes!!!!! 🔥🔥
Meanwhile, your neighbors: "why is this girl crying so frequently?" 🤣
_"You are cruel, and arrogant, and selfish... But you are more than that. You have _*_always_*_ been more than what others saw. You are more than that."_
I can't help but feel that this was the developers directly responding to all the journalists and naysayers who dismiss Kratos in the original Greek games as nothing more than a shallow, one-dimensional, murderous rage monster, and claim that he only gained depth and complexity to his character once the Norse games came around.
It's so beautiful that last shot, as the light fades it looks like the ash on Kratos's skin is gone!
It's an exciting experience to come to the end of this amazing game with you.
Thank You, Kali. 😁⚔️
thank you for being here this entire journey! 💚
I love how you can see peace in face and a warmish hue in his skin.
I think this is a great time for each and every one of us here to take a deep breath, look in the mirror, and be proud of ourselves for everything we have been through and grown through to be where we are now in this very moment
I know I've said this many times, but thank you, thank you, thank you for this whole series of playthroughs, and for doing such incredible justice to these games.
And even though i'm still having mixed feelings about being done with it all, I also can't wait to see where the next game goes 🏜️🐴
Thank you for all your love and support to this channel! I'm so glad that this series has been a bright light in your day and hopefully the next series can be the same! ☺️💚
Of course! It's just a small token of my appreciation for all the hard work you put into your channel
YES to all of this 🔥
You can't say this will be your last time in God of War, you will always have the free will to replay all of them and come back to all of them when ever you want.
Thank you for everything it’s been a honour to follow your journey!
thank you for being here since the beginning! 💚 it's been a heck of a journey
Our journey is now over. We really had a lot of fun. The only bad thing about God of War is that it ends. Now we will look to the future with Atreus. thank you kali
thank you!
I'll miss you playing God of War
i'll miss this series so much too! but thank you for following it this entire way 💚✨
Your whole GoW series has been an absolute pleasure to watch!
Thank you again and can't wait to see more content from you!
thank you for watching! 💚
I HOPE to still be alive to experience the next chapter of Kratos. It was an emotional delight to have watched you play this. Thank you.
1:08:32 Fiery enemies are resistant to blades and Frosty are to axe. Loved these series, you should be proud ❤
If you go back to the Armour selection, you'll find his original Greek armor too.😉
I am so glad you completed this journey.
You have done a great job of playing through the entire GoW franchise, your dedication is appreciated and enthusiasm is contagious
You did so well with all of the God of War games Kaliwali! A job well done! You are such a devoted gamer. This was one hell of a series!
thank you so much! 💚
So good. I love how Valhalla reconciles the two series, and does the work to make the Greek era more meaningful.
This journey was amazing, thank you for that!
thank you for being here!
@@kaliwali cant wait for RDR!
I am excited about Raising Kratos on Sunday and if possible Untangling GOW
I also cannot appreciate and commend the end credits music, seeing the Nordic rendition of Greek Kratos lyrics made me cry, when the credits rolled I stood up and clapped because I am proud of my man Kratos. I feel like I spent this life with him, I am so proud of you my man.
I can't tell you how close I was to clapping but I didn't want to be that person 🤣🤣🤣 if I was alone, I 100% would have stood up clapped and cried lol
I can't wait to watch the documentary! i'll see you there!
i believe the toy he brings during the end dialogue could be Pandora, knowing that's where we really saw the beginning of the change of who he is now. the fact that this DLC was free and we cried this hard is just PERFECTION. im still mad this did not win game of the year
A beautiful story of redemption.
I may have showed up for gow but I'll stick around since you've grown on me
thank you so much! i'm glad you've loved this channel during the amazing series 💚
No I don’t want it to be over 😭 I really loved your journey through God of War series thank you for showing so much care and interest while playing these games. Well at least there are and will be other playthroughs to watch from you
This DLC was high quality in every way, the OSTs for the Tyr fight and the ending 👌🏻.
It was great to be able to see you play and fall in love with this story, and to see that from the first games, it had a lot of history and strong feelings. Thanks for showing this to everyone here on RUclips!
Best playthrough of this franchise! I can't wait to see what you break into next.
Congrats to you🎉🎉
Honest reactions and fun gameplay to this series🌸🌸
Kratos forgives himself🎉 🎉🎉
Not gonna lie, even I'm sad you're ending this series on your channel! I looked forward to your emotionally intelligent commentary and analysis and predictions for these games every other day and you're thorough gameplay style... your playthrough has become my all-time favorite and it's not even close, Ive never seen anyone connect to Kratos and feel the emotional beats the way you did, you constantly made me tear up with basically every upload too 😂
It's the end for now but I'll be sticking around for your commentary on every game from now on and I'll be looking through the channel backlog. There's still plenty of emotional depth and amazing storytelling left to experience in games, I promise!
thank you so much! i'm glad you've enjoyed this series so much and appreciate my insight and love for these amazing games 💚✨ see you in the next one!
Awwwww man am enemy right at the climax of the boat captain story.😭😂 ain't that always how it be. If you're not ready to leave God of war, ik I would love to see you do one final run in Valhalla to see you finish the dialogue! Or maybe react to a cutscenes video (:
But honestly, if not, your playthrough and journey has been so damn fun.
Your content during this series has been amazing! I’ve enjoyed watching you play this game. Keep it up
An emotional journey, I loved all your God of War play through ❤
Congratulations on reaching the end!
But the hydra was just an animal; I showed him what a real monster looks like."_
You could never have guessed back when that first level was first played that that moment with boat captain would go on to have that deep a regretful retrospective from Kratos. It's kind of humourously incredible.
I watched all your gameplays from the beginning and I'm glad you enjoyed this story as much as I did, what a beautiful game
Been here since the first god of war play through I’m so glad you were able to experience this game :) also even when crying you look amazing always 🌹
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and emotions and thanks for playing this series .❤
Well done and what a memorable journey. I had a blast! Welcome to the waiting train with the rest of us, it sucks
Love watching your journey through the two recent games. And now Valhalla. I will be there for the documentary. And Red Dead Redemption 2. 🍻
"Place myself in service? In service..."
I can understand Kratos' hesitation there.
Kratos Goh, God of hope. And Kali I was there from the beginning.
All the emotive earnestness you experience is what makes your channel special. That aside; the way your shirt creases makes it look like it says 'HIRBOLOGY' and I keep wanting to ask who Hirb is and why he gets an whole -ology to himself.
LOL
Awesome playthrough and thanks for letting us enjoy your journey. Would luv to see you go through the old gears of war games for your old game playthroughs
Kratos became the father of all !♎️❤️
Note: If you do not continue/ complete Valhalla, you won't know what happens to Sigrun's & Mimir's relationship and their future! 😮
thank you for the super!! this dlc was so amazing i'll be playing it for awhile 🤣🥹 maybe it'll help me use a shield more and get better at combat lol
kali.... muchas gracias por cada video que subiste de gow
i like having Ares armor on and og Kratos. he looks like how he does in the start of GOW2
"I'm trying not to ugly cry...." giirl you were way past that already 🤣
thank you for being here and watching this journey! i'll miss GOW so much 💚🥹
The mixing of the Norse God of War theme music and the Greek God of War music during the credits is perfection.
Love you kali!!! Thank you for being real!
LOL the realest comment and i'm here for it. thank you for sticking around and loving this series! 💚
I told you, you will love this game, so glad you enjoy it from start to end, Rise the God of Hope 💪
Hope this helps!
this helps soooooo much!! thank you for taking the time to explain this!
hi kali, one detail I think you will find interesting is that when you stun an enemy- yellow R3 symbol means you will stun grab the enemy without killing it, but if the R3 symbol is red it means you will kill it.
Also if you want another action and story driven series to play that's out of your usual comfort zone, i recommend the insomniac spider-man games.
awesome recommendation! thank you for watching 💚
Mimir literally from Shakespeare's a midsummer's night dream
I am very sad about the end of the series, it was truly the best game series.
Maaaaan, been a wild ride since God of War 1 huh?
Thank you for your amazing playthrough and sharing your thoughts and feels through it!
thank you!
Awesome Playthrough kali❤
Kratos walking out of Valhalla, is the same picture that was on the mural at the end of the main game, with the ax on his shoulder.
That was epic ❤❤❤100
That's was amazing "god of hope"
Such an amazing reaction to an incredible dlc I admit when I heard it was gonna be a roguelite which I'm not the biggest fan of I was worried but now I found out if a rogue lite has awesome writing like this then I may very well like them after all. The ending was excellent and I'm glad you enjoyed the entire franchise.
Thanks for playing these games. We had fun making them 😊
i'm about to start my replay of Ragnarok since I was gifted an amazing playstation controller for christmas! I can't wait to get into this DLC again. so much love was clearly put into it- thank you!
