In "The One With Monica's Boots", Phoebe tries to get Ross to get her Sting concert tickets by singing "Ross can". In the background, you can see Monica and Rachel smiling and laughing at her performance.
Yessss I was always shocked to hear that this was not scripted, I bet it really hurt but he knew it was SO funny that he knew he had to keep going-- if he laughed then Jennifer would have broken too (she was always cute at hiding her laughter with her hands) and they wouldn't have been able to use the scene. This and Ross handing Chandler the lamp are my very favorite unscripted moments that were kept in the show!
@@LoveMarshieCharlie not sure I believe that wasn't 'scripted' tbh. Surely, that was why the character was handcuffed to the filing cabinet in the first place. Plus they would have rehearsed the scene! The only way it wasn't planned would be that it happened in rehearsal, and was kept in!
I love how close the core six cast members were, both on and offscreen, to the point that they insisted that they be paid exactly the same salary per episode.

It's always hilarious when actors break character and they keep it in the show, movie, etc 😂. RIP Matthew Perry 😢💔🕊️🌹🙏🏼. We'll miss and love you forever Chandler Bing ❤️.
I know Matthew Perry wanted to be remembered as someone who helped others first, not for his role as Chandler Bing. But I would argue that he helped people as Chandler and as Matthew. Making people laugh, helping them to decompress after a myriad of reasons for having had a bad day, is a gift. As was his ability to be relatable and humble and funny while bearing his soul. He will be remembered as a gift to the world who went back to the universe at the pinnacle of this life.
Every minute of every day, there is someone in this world that is feeling sad/down/depressed and will watch a Friends episode on TV/streaming, or, like me, choose a DVD disc from all 10 seasons to watch to laugh and get our minds off of our troubles; sometines we'll pick a favorite -- usually it is one where we know Chandler has a great line ("what kind of scary ass clowns came to your birthday parties"/"was that place THE SUN?" /"yes, they do move them over when they measure you -- in PRISON!"
@@thenightporter Agreed! I also rewatch Friends for helping with depression. And love Matthew to bits. He was a tormented soul, a son of narcissistic parents, and almost became one himself. But he fought it, grew in his soul, overgrown the pain. He is a hero actually. Very few people are capable of facing the inner demons and holding on to the Sun. ☀️
Very true. I forget whether it was Perry or another cast member who was walking down the street a few days after 9/11 and a complete stranger hugged them, saying, "Watching Friends made me laugh for the first time after the terrorist attacks."
Our gratitude and fond memories are actually our prayers. He is probably one of the most loved people to have ever walked the Earth (and I am very serious). We all pray for him every time we talk or even think about him.. ❤❤❤

oh man there really is no other show that can make me so joyous as Friends. Call me old fashion or narrow minded, I don't care. The chemistry of that cast is just unparalleled. Can't wait to share this pearl of a cultural treasure with my kids
Man! Two weeks ago I wouldn’t have been able to watch this without bursting into tears(don’t get me wrong, it’s still very very sad) but I’m able to watch this and enjoy our Chandler!!❤
I'm surprised that the "blue blazer black" scene wasn't on here! They kept going after Matthew Perry messed up his line but when Monica says "you're stupid" you can tell she's trying so hard no to laugh.
I think it's because the line was about a businessman who later became the 45th president of the United States, and Mojo avoided mentioning his name so the comments wouldn't turn into a political dumpster fire.
@@nnnnnnnnnnn7292 If I recall correctly, Matthew Perry was supposed to say "get my blue blazer back" but messed up saying black instead of back, yet the scene continued anyway and Courtney made fun of him saying "you're stupid", and it kept in the scene was if it was scripted. Something like that.
@@ritasnow8319 I never said she was making them laugh. She broke character many times but as the moment of the laugh fitted accordingly to the situations her laughs were kept as of the scenes
I was watching friends every night even before Matthew Perry died.and even though I know that he’s gone, it doesn’t feel like he is when I’m watching. His comedic timeline on Friends was amazing. And his legacy still lives on. Watching him on Friends after all these years still feels like he is still here. This show is amazing, no matter how many times I watch it, it’s always funny.
There were quite a lot of add-libs from Matty and if you go back and re-watch many of the episodes you’ll see Jen losing it the most His comedic genius was nothing short of amazing and brilliant. RIP Matty You’ll be missed so much and we loved you more than words can express. Your wardrobe assistant through the decades..
The way Matthew kept a straight face after the mishap of the drawer hitting him in the head always makes me laugh. That was such a great blooper that made the scene much more memorable. RIP Matthew Perry, you will forever be our friend Chandler Bing! ❤
I’m glad she mentioned the aspect ratio thing. The show was shot on 16:9 film, but the sides were cropped for the standard definition 4:3 televisions of the time. So the remastering of the show for today’s viewing means a lot of things on the sides that we were never meant to seen, now can be. That includes chuckling actors who thought they wouldn’t be seen, actor stand-ins, and crew members that had to be digitally removed
Especially in the midst of the audience laughing, and sometimes other cast members. Matthew Perry was amazing. Rest peacefully, God bless Matthew Perry and his family and friends.
LOVE the bagpipes clip! I didn't know that the prank with David and a Sprouse twin was Jen's actually reaction I've always thought it was REALLY GREAT acting. Interestingly enough with Matthew getting hit in the head with the filing cabinet, I always feel his pain. It SURE is a great way to get a concussion! Could Chandler BE any more concussed by a filing cabinet?
Season 3 , episode 22, "The one with the screamer". Lisa Kudrow jump scared then laughing with Ben Stiller fiercely shouting: "MAN !!!" as he leaves at the end of the episode, after he's caught by everyone yelling at the duck.
Best bloopers even kept in the show are hilarious. I have all ten seasons and in response to Mathew perry's demise and farewell, I have been rewatching the series. So many good times so many great laughs. Love you Matt, miss you my friend.
Near the end of "The One With the Embryos," Phoebe declares happily that the fertility treatment worked, and she's pregnant. Giovanni Ribisi, as her brother Frank, shouts in joy: "MY SISTER'S GONNA HAVE MY BABY!!" You can see Jennifer Aniston completely lose it and start laughing at this line.
I think it's more true to life when they giggle at some of the things. If one of my friends played the bagpipes and another screeched to it I would be rolling on the floor laughing.
Now i know not only Disney characters on Disneyland also break character from time to time, but also Friends characters as well, what a nice top! Have a happy thursday afternoon, Emely. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well

One last bit of antics from the gang 😂
There is another one. In the Bamboozled episode, when Ross ask if there's a humping bonus, he inmediatly starts to jump, but when he forgot to switch legs he screams "OH NOO, EVERY TIME" and Matthew Perry almost break and start laughing.
Its not obvious but I also liked that scene during Ross's wedding (with Emily) where Joey comes to Ross because the band's ready. When Ross yells his line "I dont care about the stupid band!" You can briefly see Rachel in between them break a laugh before they switch camera.
10:41 not only is rachel struggling to not laugh, you can see the camera shaking a little. Looks like the cameraman could barely hold in their laughter either
I've seen the show so many times that I know it's probably easier to count the scenes where Jennifer isn't hiding behind her hands or her hair as she breaks from something happening, especially with Perry or Kudrow.

When Chandler says "I'm sorry, we don't have your sheep" it looks like Matthew Perry's looking over at the audience and is relieved they laughed.
