The fundamental problem is that most of us do not feel the results of debt. We will continue to borrow and float the economy, and when it does crash, that will be the key moment that we determine our future for the next few decades. Coming from an ex-communist state my fear is, we will go into serious Socialism driven by authoritarianism. Giving America a taste of that will be quite sobering. When you say you're preparing for something, I have no idea what you mean. If you're preparing for a crashed economy and the subsequent Socialism, there's nothing to prepare for. You will lose everything.
You are 100% correct. The debt is going to ruin America. Buying all the equipment you did and setting up a wood yard like you have. Money in the bank. Now all you need to do is set up a good size garden. Then start preserving it all. Keep up the positive attitude and have a blessed week.

I am eighty-three. year old and I haven't had any debt in the last sixth years, we have a budget and we save (pay ourselves first every payday) and when we have a want we determine if it is a want or need and can we afford to spend the savings. I feel the government lies better than they can count.. January it was reported a jump in employment numbers but after looking into the report, we lost 97,000+ full time jobs and gained 877,000+ plus part time jobs. That is what I call "counting your chickens before they hatch". I agree with your line of reasoning 100%.

Terry you nailed it , and I'll go a step further, If you do a little more research you will find the government rolled back those "new Job numbers" a couple months after they spewed the lies about the numbers. When they said a certain month was say 280,000 it turned out it was only 160,000 and 90,000 of those were "Government Jobs" talk about padding the numbers ! Lets not forget who is doing the counting here , ya the same group of swamp creatures spending trillions and sending the money overseas to their criminal friends. The definition and purpose of a swamp is a place the takes toxins out of water and purifies water so that it can be used to promote life. I never did understand who the half wit person was that came up with “drain the swamp”.
What happens when you get someone who truly wants to get things back on track? By the time they understand and are able make a difference, they are term limited.
“Draining the swamp” term makes no sense to me. A swamp, marsh, wet land is a place that balances out the ecosystem, purifies water and has a diversified environment. Is that what we want?
I don't disagree but there is already a mechanism for term limits. It is called an election. Unfortunately, as long as someone keeps sending the goodies home people want the other guy voted out.

I agree with backing skills. I noticed on lead in that the length of the truck was making it more difficult. Reminded me of the first time I had to back a 4 wheeled silage wagon at the age of 14. ))) however it is a skill you never forget! Nice to have great neighbors!

We live off a gravel road and one night last year my wife and I came outside to the front porch and she says that there is something in the yard. Well it was a herd of deer laying down around the oak trees. What a sight to see. I have been in the building and come out and seen deer laying in the yard during the day. Last year started to see a few turkeys and now there are over 100 of them and it's from feeding them cracked corn. The other day as we pulled onto the property both of us in separate vehicles the turkeys were in the front yard and there were many. I hadn't put the corn down for them yet. I know they watch me bringing corn out in buckets and soon they show up. We love feeding the wildlife.

While I agree we are in a mess, caused by the way, by both parties, (DC is a dog and pony show to entertain us while they pick our pockets) I definitely am not for giving it back to someone who couldn't even run a casino successfully and left us with broken supply chains, tariffs on our trading partners, no oil being refined because of his gross mismanagement of covid and I could go on. Failure on every level. That guy will not be my choice, but as you said, people can do whatever they want to. I'm 79 so it probably won't affect me that much, but I do care what happens to my kids and grand kids. Biden's no bargain either, but I won't be voting for the snake oil salesman lol! One more thing. Budget is one thing of course, but also you have to consider GDP. Biden is blowing away trump in that department, so there's that. When you invest in the working class instead of just more tax cuts for the very wealthy, the money works it's way thru the economy instead of being off shored into secret bank accounts and it actually helps all of us instead of the very few. So there's a lot more money coming in. Just something to think about and that's the reason for the GDP explosion. Investment in the working class. So yes, the broken supply chains and tariffs caused inflation, but it has been tempered by a lot of jobs that pay better being available to those that wish to work. If one doesn't want to work, then forgive me, I have no sympathy for them. But fortunately for those that wish to work, work is available. I've watched your business grow tremendously the last couple years. Congratulations because you are a very hard worker and that's one reason I love watching your channel!
One of my first jobs was cabinet making. My boss would always get me to back up the trailer to the door to get them loaded. 150’ of backing every 3-4 days.he knew I needed the experience.

Mike I have not bought anything on credit since 1994. My house has been paid for since 2001. Clearly, I have no debt and no intentions of making any more debt. But I resent having to pay the debts of others. Somehow it would be great to sort out the number of dollars spent to buy votes. How many dollars that are spent on other countries. I won't even ask how many dollars get laundered back into the politicians' pockets (Congress included) I got my bill for liability insurance on my automobiles today and it has tripled. I have never filed a claim in over 38 years with the same insurance company and same agent. I have not had a ticket in about 25 years. So, I am furious about buying votes for those too lazy to work and just as furious that my insurance rates are allowed to triple and nothing, I can do about it. I am willing to say out loud that the Game is Rigged! My only salvation is that I am "Long in the Tooth" and may not be here to see the blades come off of the fan. People can ignore and embellish the truth, but the Truth does not change. Stand firm on your beliefs my friend. Thanks for being strong enough to tell the truth. Many are not.

When I pulled logs using my oxen, we would end up with a percentage of the logs out of our reach.
My friend had one of the first Farmi winches on the three point hitch of his tractor. He couldn't get his tractor down to the logs, but with a 180' cable, he would come in when we finished the show, and we would do as you did on yesterday's video.
I wish they had invented those helmets back then. Communicating 180' down over the side was always an issue.

I agree 100 percent Mike. We are not going to be able to spend our way to a better future. Paying for two wars and letting our border be as porous as a sieve is not the answer to prosperity. We have to vote wisely this November to get away from Biden’s crazy administration. Vote wisely nationally and locally. Mike you are missing something: the trillions of national assets are link to the trillions of national debts. The Federal Reserve and the Federal Treasury are managing the amount and the value of those assets and of those debts, by issueing treasury bonds (allowing more money to flow in the economy = existing or future debts) and by using a multitude of fiscal policies (state and national rules and regulation link to banking, personnal and business finance). The growth of national debts is link to the growth of the economy. You dont want stagnation of the growth. Therefore the national debt grows as the economy grows. The increase of productivity by people and business, and also a strong US dollar are the main driving forces of the growth of the US economy. Worrying about the size of national debt is like asking yourself how much rain or sun there will be over the next year or decade. You only have control about you own behaviour. What you should worry is about why some people pay less taxes than you, while they make millions or billions of profits. They are the ones who are funding the election of state and federal representatives. They are buying influence in the open for their own benefit, while the mafia does the same in the underground world. They are acting for their own benefit: not for your benefit. National media is not talking about it, because those guys own national media and they dont want a spot light on their shady dealings.

Why not use the big tractor to haul the dump trailer? I find it’s a lot easier.
No brakes on trailer then, I don’t have trailer plug on tractor, 5,000 lb tractor and over 10k on the trailer
