Personal opinion, but Setsuna's version is much more powerful. The emotion and torment are much more apparent in Setsuna's version while this sounds like an average Christmas song (which I guess it is *supposed* to be, but still...).
Just think of Ogata Rina's unrequited love. She's willing to give it all for the person she likes, but, even so, he wants the girl who isn't giving him any attention. Moreover this song being her last moments to show him her feelings on a stage, knowing she's gonna retire soon... For me, Nana Mizuki nails the feeling of this song perfectly

LeafのWHITE ALBUM、TacticsのONE〜輝く季節へ〜は同時期に発売されたけど、これだけ面白いゲームをリアタイでプレイしてた当時の人たちが羨ましい。
両方とも冬が舞台だし、冬のゲームと言えば必ずこの二つが思い浮かぶ。
だけど時代的に多分、ホワルバのような作品はもう出ないだろうな…
