Yes. Even before Thor got his new powers he was on equal footing with Hulk, which means with his new power he's even stronger. Plus you have to remember that Hulk only has his super strength and healing abilities whilst Thor has lightning, the same super strength, agility, healing, weather manipulation, the ability to breathe and travel in outer space etc. Hulk was clearly outclassed in that Ragnarok fight.

Let’s not forget when Wanda held back thanos as she broke the mind stone, and successfully did it. She also was going to kill thanos had thanos not had his army shoot down to the ground. Thor was able to throw his axe and was more powerful than all 6 infinity stones and would’ve killed him but he snapped his fingers
@@ID_Manuel I think the word of gods is that Thor's stormbreaker is able to overpower the infinite gauntlet due to the dwarf crafted it to defeat infinite gauntlet. On the other hand, Captain Marvel and Wanda were both able to overpower Thanos by themselves.

There’s a difference between most powerful and most strongest. Thor, vision and Wanda are definitely more POWERFUL than hulk. Like Wanda almost killed thanos had it not been for his armies. The thing with the hulk is usually the angrier he gets the stronger he gets so while Thor was getting the upper hand it's not a done deal that he was going to win. Hulk is generally the consensus strongest of the avengers.

The only limitation on the hulk is how much banner holds him back which is usually why Thor wins their fights, Banner doesn't want to kill Thor and that holds the Hulk back from going all out against him. erik schakel Black Panther is an Avenger in the comics. The reason Bucky was added was because he was in civil war and this list is only composed of characters that have been in the Avengers movies or in Bucky’s case Civil War. Dr. Strange was not added because he hasn’t had any interaction with the Avengers in the MCU besides Thor.
After infinity war, Thor became the strongest marvel character. MCU* I thought it was obvious I was talking about the movies, but yeah, there are a handful of more powerful comic characters.

Ok, but can we talk about Scarlet Witch being able to hold back Thanos (with 5 Infinity Stones, mind you!) with one hand as she's bawling, trying to destroy Vision and his Stone at the same time? Thanos wasn't just playing dumb, either, he was actually struggling to advance against her energy beam.

She could easily delete all of Thanos' minions and she could beat any of Thanos' children in a 1v1 (as seen by the fact that they needed to wait for her to join the battle before going after Vision duing the Big Wakanda Battle (best name ever))

That doesn't mean that he didn't struggle against her attack. He knew he'd eventually be victorious, even if he was on the verge of dying since he could rewind. Him winning the clash or not was meaningless since he'd just rewind and beat her after.
There's no way you can make that clear. Strange never even tried to hurt him, but only to restrain him and Vision also never had a shot at anything in his peak. I'd say all 3 are top 3, but there's no *clear* specific order.

Hulk wouldn't hurt Thanos with Gauntlet at all. Without gauntlet, he's got good chance. But Thor is by far the most powerful hero of MCU now, after Ragnarok and Infinity War. He survived the energy of a star and unleashed his true weather controlling powers. My list: Thor, Strange, Wanda, Vision, Hulk, Spider... big space... all others (with Cap, Bucky and Panther totally same, superserum level).

The directors have stated that Thor would have killed Thanos if he had gone for the head. He purposely didn't go for the head so he could say "I told you you'd die for that.". So he definitely is strong enough to kill Thanos with the new weapon. However, this list was made before Infinity War released, so they didn't have that info.
It was Thor's axe that took the power of the stones and I'm not even sure Stormbreaker has the worthiness enchant either, so theoretically almost anyone could have done that.

In Infinity War, he was easily beaten by Thanos, but Thor was able to almost take him down. So technically Thor is truly the strongest Avenger. Edit 2: Also, Scarlet Witch is at the same level as Thor. She was able to hold back Thanos, and destroy an Infinity Stone. But the only reason she was able to hold back Thanos was because he had an uncompleted Gauntlet. Thor on the other hand, was able to overpower a fully completed Thanos wearing a completed Gauntlet. People! Don’t equate absence with weakness. Captain Marvel’s absence through most of Endgame helps prove that she is the most powerful. The reason Bucky was added was because he was in civil war and this list is only composed of characters that have been in the Avengers movies or in Bucky’s case Civil War. Dr. Strange was not added because he hasn’t had any interaction with the Avengers in the MCU besides Thor.

The directors have stated that Thor would have killed Thanos if he had gone for the head. He purposely didn't go for the head so he could say "I told you you'd die for that.". So he definitely is strong enough to kill Thanos with the new weapon. However, this list was made before Infinity War released, so they didn't have that info.

Exactly his time gem and portal powers are so OP. He has magic with no limits we can see at this point but your own knowledge, he can reverse time and like in thor ragnarock he can lanch people with portals anywhere even in an endlessly falling abysss. Check out HISHE for thor ragnarock to see how he could have easily beat Hella. So far till they put some limits on him hes definitely the strongest.

Edit: Some don’t get it. I know Thanos isn’t an Avenger, but what I am saying is that Hulk isn’t truly the strongest. In Infinity War, he was easily beaten by Thanos, but Thor was able to almost take him down. So technically Thor is truly the strongest Avenger.
Edit 2: Also, Scarlet Witch is at the same level as Thor. She was able to hold back Thanos, and destroy an Infinity Stone. But the only reason she was able to hold back Thanos was because he had an uncompleted Gauntlet. Thor on the other hand, was able to overpower a fully completed Thanos wearing a completed Gauntlet. If only he aimed for the head...

People! Don’t equate absence with weakness.
Captain Marvel’s absence through most of Endgame helps prove that she is the most powerful. The writers had to keep her off screen for most of the MCU’s last 10 years. If she had been around earlier, so much wouldn’t have happened. More specifically if she’d been on screen at the beginning of Infinity Wars, then there wouldn’t have been an Endgame.
