Yes, and I am not blaming the victim here, but...she didn't know the people well @1:30 and this was a dangerous thing to do in the first place. Everyone needs to think about the risks on the water.
The family said she said the boat was going too fast. I wonder who was there beside her to hear that? And now you've got her begging to stop. Get real.
It sounds to me that the guy driving the boat probably will go to jail for murder because do not drive like that anywhere in the world unless you’re looking to kill someone off
🙋🏾♂️ Folks we all know that one or a few irresponsible people. Identify them and avoid them. Do not have them at any of your functions, parties, or social circles.
Having lived on a river for 10 years and fished and water skied almost everyday! It’s the boat drivers fault just like the person who is driving a car😳 driving responsibly is a life or death thing❤️😢
She should have simply gotten off the inner tube, and flagged down a sober boat driver to pick her up from the water. She DID have control, get off the inner tube!
This is another video by your news 2 days ago: "Woman dies after falling from boat, being hit by 2nd boat on Willamette River KPTV FOX 12 Oregon" Is this the same story???
The first story I heard was it was a vehicular collision between a boater and a jet ski rider, unless these are different stories then they have no clue what they're on about
🤣 who's gunna tell the knew dude about how you knuckle heads defunded the police, they have social workers and huggable peace keepers now. I guess July 1 they get some of their tax funded protection back but not much.
Where are the negligent or reckless homicide charges if the operator was driving recklessly and she was yelling at him to stop then they need to sit for awhile
There was a lack of common sense on the part of both the boat driver and the young woman. There was danger involved and people need to think ahead of what may or may not happen with the actions that are taking. Was alcohol involved ??? Was she wearing a life jacket ???
I used to go tubing when I had a boat but never pulled it in ways of other Boats , the driver is liable >To bad she was so young and pretty to lose her life .
This is why we are supposed to wear life vests so you can bail out of boat or innertube when things get dangerous and float back to shore im 40 years old and would wear mine even if everyone else wont and helmets are cool for situations like innertubing driver is probably going to jail sucks but shouldn't be wreakless you can still have fun and not be a butthead
Whoever was driving the boat committed Manslaughter. It was not their intention to bring harm or death, but their imprudent actions resulted in death. The question that might be asked is,” What would a prudent person do under similar circumstances?” The answer here is obvious.
Sounds like the boat driver is an evil misogynist who deliberately did this because he's mad that she's a young pretty young girl and he's a loathsome creep. He is responsible for this girl's death, shame on him and his entire bloodline for raising such a despicable sociopath. -condolences to the family, im so sorry.
Naw, he probably had a more goof heart then u, Accident mistakes happens, And he killed himself the day of her funeral due to guilt. That boy was only 24. RIP to both
On that Saturday while riding my bicycle on the Esplanade side I'm not sure if it was the same white boat that I saw pulling a large inflated inner tube with two people on it going towards the Steel Bridge.. It could of been the same boat or a different boat pulling a tube..
The boat driver totally put the girl in danger

Drinking and boating. Scary.
Condolences 💐 to her loved ones and family. The boat driver is responsible for her safety. He needs to be charged.
If the water wasn't there she wouldn't have been water-skiing.
@@johnwattdotca?? She was being pulled on an intertube
@@jbaxa3 It is tragic, that's for sure.
She begged the driver to stop he didn’t. What is there to “determine”?

@@johnwattdotca The reporter said she and her friend joined others she did not know on the boat, so it's likely her friend that heard it.

That's hear say at this point....sooooo calm your self tough guy
@@jgjg3848 She made a poor decision and it cost her life. That is very sad.
This is horrible. When somebody tells you to stop doing something, please do it!!!. This makes me feel so sad.😢
This is negligence on the part of the boat operator, plain and simple. You don't weave near other boat traffic. Sad that a life was lost. RIP.
Prayers for the family 😢
It sounds to me that the guy driving the boat probably will go to jail for murder because do not drive like that anywhere in the world unless you’re looking to kill someone off
Manslaughter or involuntary you mean, not deliberate
You're not very smart are you Scott?
He killed himself 💔
That is totally a senseless and completely needless tragedy. I pray for her family and sweet pupper left behind. 😢😢
How dose that happen? Who was she with ? Where’s the police report?
Did you not watch the video?

If I'm driving a car and someone riding in the back seat jumps out of the moving car with no warning is that my fault as the driver?
It's funny until it's tragic. Don't ride with irresponsible drivers.

So sorry for your loss.
Stop. If your a 100 feet behid a boat on an intertube no one in the boat can hear you.
That is why hand signals are used and why someone is supposed to keep their eyes on the person in the tube at all times .
It wouldn’t matter if they couldn’t hear her. They were reckless and dangerous in their driving. The end.
@shari9721 You can't do hand signals on a tube at speed if you let go with one hand you wipe out, but in this case that would have been a good thing.

Why didn't she just get off the tube? As some people do fall off while being towed.
Exactly! If it was sooooo fockin scary she could of just rolled off the tube....fishy
She probably thought the driver would eventually slow down. Gave him the benefit of the doubt.
