All that Yulianna Avdeeva does is always on a very high level, I have learned to trust her playing. So also this time.

A deep sensitivity with Julianna at the piano. And I love F. Chopin. And the world becomes beautiful when I listen to this concerto N°2. The touch is fabulous. It brings love in my heart. Thank you.

Grazie Yulianna.

She is a wonderful musician! The Chopin concertos have never been my favorite concertos but she changed my mimd with her/this orchestra’s performance.

A distinguished lady, a formidable pianist and void of the hilarious and irrelevant histrionics of some other pianists who feel the need to show off their tits and heavy make-up.

High-level interpretation, no doubt; Yulianna is, in my opinion, for a long time the best living interpreter of F.Chopin's music. I think only a woman can get so close to such a subtly refined and complex soul as Chopin's. Many great pianists in the past have left us memorable interpretations, one above all Maurizio Pollini. Yulianna has found her way closer than others to the Chopin sensibility. In this specific circumstance I do not hear her at her best, perhaps there is not the deep understanding that she has had with other orchestras and conductors. That happens to the best.

It is so very interesting that the sequence was reversed for these two great masterworks. Perhaps, Chopin’s musical philosophical muse understood the proper space time continuum and arranged for the proper ascendency on the “Fair breezes” trajectory? That ole “Philosophical Jellyfish” would surely concur as he floats blithely through the proper tides and currents, thereby transitioning into a world traveler. 💫❤️❤️💫. PWG

Disappointing performance given the usually very high standards we have come to expect from Yulianna. This performance just didn't seem to really get going at all. She could have done with some of that sparkle on her jacket being injected into her playing. Who can forget that world winning performance she gave in the final of the International Chopin Competition of Chopin's Piano Concerto No.1? I suppose we all have our 'off' days but I have seen and heard much better from her on this platform.

@@staffanolofsson8201 You're quite wrong about people not asking men to do something with their hair, but I suspect you know little about the marketing. Yuliana's hair (as anyone's) tells us about herself.
