I am using this as a supplement to my Hayne's manual to change out the plugs in my '97 Tracker for the first time. It makes me feel like a big ol' manly man, when I am in fact a 26 year old lady. Thanks man! I have appreciated your videos over the last couple years; as a fellow Midwesterner, I'd play cornhole and share a beer with you in the backyard.
Miller's got to put you in one of their commercials cuz you are living the high life my man! I'm getting ready to buy a 2000 Chevy tracker 4 cylinder automatic two-wheel drive for $150 it's got 199K on it but seems to run pretty good I got to fix the hatch handle fix a fuel leak and fix a brake line wish me luck!
Thanks for the video. Just picked up a 2003 GV with 133,000 miles on it. I was worried it was like the Mitsubishi Montero that I helped a friend change the plugs on. The intake manifold had to be removed to get to them. Relieved to see that's not the case on this one.
Agreed wis winter sucks I'm about 45min north of greenbay. I replaced my cover screws with 10mm bolts bc the screws were pretty rusty. I replace my plugs every 2 years in our grand vitara
I was driving my 95 Tracker 5 speed 1.6 16 valve 4x4 today doing 35 mph and it started kinda surging, not running smooth. It's been running like a champ. I went for a long drive today for a few hours up top to Mt Baker and putted around in the snow and back down into town and I was just going a steady 35 but it wasn't a smooth 35 mph. Any idea were to start looking? I'm thinking egr needs cleaned or???
I just got a 2006 grand vitara , parts are damn near impossible to find the part I needed I have to wait almost 4 months for its a OEM part & now I have a gas leak no idea what the part number is for that piece
Most fuel line issues can be fixed with universal parts found at local parts stores. For unique parts Have you Tried the Chevy dealership? They share many parts with the Chevy Tracker
Thanks for making these videos, I think you're responsible for many an old GV staying on the road around the world :)
