Funny enough I just got my copy in the mail today for crisis core reunion and I can’t wait to play it for the first time as I never got around to playing the original.

@@RetroWolf13hey man good news after taking my time to really enjoy the game I am happy to say that I just finished Crisis Core Reunion and I got to say that this game is now my second favourite final fantasy game only beaten by xv for me personally. Man where I do even start this game was so good. By far my favourite part of the game story wise everything after chapter 4 as for me it started pretty slow and getting used to Zack’s character was hard as first but it felt so rewarding as the game went on to see how Zack developed from this very young like carefree guy who didn’t have much to worry about into this mature hero who gained peoples trust and respect and became a character with goals ambitions, responsibilities, and honour. So in story that was very good now by far my favourite thing to do was something I really got into at the end of the game during chapter 10 where I discovered how overpowered I could make my matiria fusions which let me not only get some of the best spells in the game but also let me max out my go and almost max out my mp at only level 35 and it was awesome just seeing how much I could improve my skills. Next, combat was really fun the action rpg system made it really satisfying to take out bosses and random encounters because of how quick they were. Additionally, I found most of the side missions to be really fun even though unfortunately I was only able to do a quarter of all them it still was really useful for grinding 5 or so levels before the start of each chapter. In short this game was incredible and im so glad to experience it all and can’t wait to play ffvii and the remake when I eventually get around to playing thoughs games for the first time. I leave with one last quote “protect your solider honour” -angile
@forest2843 I’m really happy to hear you really enjoyed the game. I originally played it on the psp and the game was very clunky control wise. However this remake is absolutely amazing. Go back and do all the side quests see I couldn’t beat Minerva on the psp but I kicked her ass on this remaster because it of the controls definitely go back and beat her it’s so satisfying 😂
I have to say this game was great until the whole Angeal situation occurs with Genesis and Sephiroth. I think they messed up the story near the end otherwise this game has a solid story and absolutely great gameplay mechanics solid game.
