From the perspective of time (I played FFT on PSone as a teenager and now I'm almost 40...) this is undoubtedly a game that deserves a rating of 10/10. On the minus side, the overly powerful character Orlandeau and random fights (it would be better if they were optional).
I played this game on the Ps1 too I’m 40 now so we probably played it roughly at the same time. I remember I’d just finished playing ff7 and needed another great rpg and waited for this game for a few months and eventually when it landed I was hooked great story and characters music was amazing and the battles were so much fun. Yes I agree that character is OP I hope they make a remaster and maybe add sephiroth to the mix too lol 😂

I remember playing this game when I was badly for a few weeks it was the best game ever, I think this needs some TLC HD reamser cough cough no?
