True statement for every Direct injected car...but the BRZ/86 benefit from Toyota's D-4S dual injector system. The D-4S has both (intake) port and direct injection so oil vapor build up on the back of the intake valves is lessened by the port injection. Even though these cars do benefit from a catch can, they don't really need it as much as the WRX (FA20DIT & FA24DIT), Crosstrek, Outback, and Ascent that are direct injection only....... 🏁
Oil coolers are worth it too but super expensive
Yes! You can actually use a sandwich plate oil cooler that comes oem on the older wrx & legacy. Works pretty good and is more affordable 👍🏼

Mhm that does make sense, but my intake filter is always covered in oil. I thought I’d rather be safe than sorry
