    This is the best POV of a final and landing a Quicksilver. I even got that little fear I get in the last 15-20 seconds watching it. A good practice video- thanks.

    You have a beautiful Sport 2S. I really enjoyed watching your practice. Yeah, the key scared me a bit, however, I am sure you took care of that problem already. Please post more!! I love it. I am also looking to buy a 2s.

    And to heck with the Peanut Gallery on the key. That goes, last place it'll go is the prop.

    LOL I asked where you were located in a previous video and now I see it's Houston. I visit Spring TX once in a while to visit with my Step daughters and grandchildren. Next time I come that way I'll let you know. i'd love to see you fly

    Nice job 👍 I miss flying but will be doing it again soon. Had almost 400 hrs in my sprint when I had to sell my plane after a tough personal situation I went through. 😞

      @@richardsukey7703 do you still have your quicksilver?

    • @richardsukey7703
      @richardsukey7703  7 месяцев назад

      Yes I do. Have a new fuel tank to put on it and the rocket for the BRS needs too be replaced. Want to sell it when finished. I transported it from Texas too Florida so I bought a custom trailer to do so. Had to remove the wings to transport but ordered all new bolts and hardware to put back together.

    • @richardsukey7703

      Hi Charlie, yes I do. I trailered it from Houston to Florida which is where I live now. It is inside a custom trailer that I bought just for that purpose. I have a new fuel tank to put on it because the fuel that was in the original went bad. Has not been stored with fuel in the engine. The wings are off of it and strapped to the inside walls of the trailer. The horizontal stab is also off. I bought all new fasteners to put it back together rather than use the old hardware, The rocket on the BRS needs to be replaced to remain certified. Other than that it is in perfect condition with only about 12 hours flying time.

    I think i would also tether the single key to the instrument pod. Anything that comes loose in the air steam ends up in the propellor.

    Every since these first came out, I’ve always wanted one. Best I could do was hang gliding for awhile. Still alive so who knows? I like the two place so I could take camping gear or my heavy electric unicycle to make it to a motel after landing.

    How fast do you cruise, and what is your top speed?

    • @richardsukey7703
      @richardsukey7703  3 года назад

      at 100% power it will cruise just at 60mph. 75% will get you along at about 55.

      MIKU_OP I thought the same thing about that key, coming loose, over time, and hitting the prop. I think I'd tether, even the one key, w/safety wire or lanyard. Beautiful plane. I'd love to have one like it

    I suggest you separate your keys 🔑 before you loose them or you get a premature shut down

    Too fast on Final....& touch down.

    • @richardsukey7703
      @richardsukey7703  3 года назад

      since stall speed is about 38 and I touched down at 40, I have to disagree with you. Look at the shadow of the nosewheel and you will see a very smooth landing and nose wheel down.

    the extra key was removed just after the video was made.
