As a crusty 2 & 4 rock drummer, I love this stuff! thanks for opening up my brain. I really like the sound of your kit, would you mind sharing your config?
Hi dude, excellent video, this chop is trully amazing and you have excellent technique :) And here goes my fifty cents: I don't know if you're explicitly avoiding using sheet music notation, but the kind of notation you used here (I haven't seen your other videos to compare) was waaaaay harder than sheet music, even for someone that isn't used to it! As a rule of thumb I'd way that when the rythmic part is simple (like in this case, since all notes have the same value), the sheet music notation is always the best choice, because it's the most clear one. :)
Where's the link to the original video of the Afrikan girl playing the lick (that you promised to include)(and the source of the fill) that you borrowed from?
my drum pedal doesn't allow me to slide due to its plastic design, should I spray a little oil of some kind on the foot platform or is that not recommended?
Craig it's a very common set up post 2000, I guess because you don't really need a middle Tom because just the snare, high Tom and floor Tom already have hundreds and thousands of possibilities to combine with eachother. And also it allows the ride to be brought into the gap, which makes the kit more compact and saves space
This video has instantly helped me with my triplet handicap thank you
AWESOME fill...love the feeling you get as you hit the last two hi-hats...its like NAILED IT!!!
craziness!!!! thanks KJ for sharing it with us!!!! astonishing play and ideas
Great drummer, great teacher 🙏👍
That first chop - RllKKL makes a perfect warm up exercise / drill. Practicing that slowly will help both speed and stamina. Good stuff.
been playing drums for years without a lesson! these vids are perfect for me man thanks
Sweet! Great fill! Absolutely love it!
love this fill!
VERY Bozio-esque.
Play at half speed for best result.

Totally awesome. What level would u say this is at full speed? Advanced beginner?
Thanks!
mmm....at full speed, i'd say this is somewhat advanced.
Finding it quite difficult to follow. Not really much of a reader but wondering if there is sheet music for this ?
Cool man will use
Hey, which pair of sticks do you use :)
Hey Rias, I was wondering if you ever wear any earprotection while drumming?
+Nemzzuhh Hey bud. I mostly just the headphones for the metronome. I do recommend ear protection.
Te hace falta un vídeo de como afinas la batería?
How come you only have a small Tom and a floor Tom? Why no mid Tom?

Thanks! Someone's finally replied after 8 months😂😂😂😂😂😂
Practice your inverted paradiddles and doubles! This full strats that way.
sweet!
Tama already has amazing cymbal change out set up
Hard out! I've been enjoying them for years now and was wondering "what could possibly make my cymbal change faster".
Come back, Rias!!!!
Tq for you skill
What cymbals are those?
+Peter Shin Mostly TRX brand cymbals. The Ride is a Sabian Power Bell
Me gustan mucho tus vídeos pero en serio sería lindo subtitulado en español
slide technicue is on your foot??
+Michael Avronidakis Yeah, He is doing the slide technique
Is that paradiddle or something else ?
The first part is basically a six stroke roll with kick drums replacing hand strokes
Show
Practice your doubles on the kick if you’re not too strong guys
