Ian Pasturan I found out more than just two. Now knowing most of his albums besides BQE, The Sun Came, Stalker, Exploding Whale and Enjoy Your Rabbit here are the songs that are in the rainbow spectrum.
From the Illinoise album there is: The Predatory Wasps of The Palisades Are Out To Get Us, Size Too Small (which is also featured in Seven Swans)
From the Seven Swans album while this song reflects more on Jesus the little twist in the song “I never knew a man could love me” could be a double entendre after all.
      From Age of Adz
      Futile Devices
      All for Myself (Def gay)
“With hairy chests and well rehearsed I want it all I Want it all for myself”
      All Delighted People
      The Owl and The Tanager
This song hints at it being about a closeted boy in love with another boy only to notice that his love shattered him and left him in a cage. The verse repeats hauntingly saying “you little boy, you little boy”
      From Carrie and Lowell
All of me wants all of you
Another break up song about feeling used yet appreciating such feelings.
      Call me by your name
      Mystery of Love
      Futile Devices (Doveman Remix)
Visions of Gideon (although also can be for either male or female.)
      Planetarium
an album dedicated to all the planets in the solar system we are living in.
Only one song but it’s just a reference to Predatory Wasps
“Methodist Summer Camp you showed me yours I’ll show you mine (love). The camp again is the place where he experienced those feelings for his friend.

If you ever get the opportunity to see him perform just go. I've been lucky enough to see him with the Clogs, the National, and during the "Too Much" phase.
His performance during the Age of Adz started solo acoustic with Seven Swans then the curtain rises behind him and he proceeds to kick it up a notch with crazy joyful singing and dancing. After he tears down the place he slays the audience with Casimir Pulaski Day and John Wayne Gacy. I get goosebumps thinking about it.

I absolutely love this. At first I was made slightly uncomfortable with all the dancing in the beginning, but then as I kept watching I just fell back in love with this artist. This performance, to me, is a great example of an artist who is perfectly authentic. Yes, the costumes and funny choreography is a tad over the top and borderline childish but if everybody will just take a minute and close their eyes, take their focus off of what they thinking they're seeing, and just listen… I think you'll hear some classic Sufjan Stevens musicality in there-- and it's brilliant. The drum part is so lovely, the bass line is sick, and the trombone solos were rockin' my socks off. It's even ironic how the lyrics tie into the performance. Everything about this performance is intentional, light-hearted, and well-executed. There are countless performances that are all lights/cameras/entertainment and zero substance. This guy, and his band, ARE substance.

This man is a genius, the true definition of an Artist, And this is also how all the modern music should be, not only complex in it's composition and settings but also visual. This performance is beautiful in so many ways, the decorations, costumes, the fact they learned to dance... Beautiful!. Maybe my only complain would be that he's still using his solo name, I mean yeah he does probably most of the work but I definitely think some people on that stage deserves also some recognition. Other than that, this is just perfect.

Unless you were there for the Age of Adz tour, you may never know what it’s like to watch a vision and music coalesce in the most beautiful way possible. The show was lilting, apocalyptic, an absolute exploration of the modern soul brought by an artist at the absolute top of his game. I was there. I had chills. May God have mercy on our souls.

On the other hand he clearly loves to inmerse himself on every ambience-spirit of his albums and that may look crazy, but it's part of his obsession with what he does.
He's a true artist, living his art all the time.

Sufjan Stevens is a person and assuming his sexual orientation is extremely insensitive. He’s not some industry plant, he’s a living, breathing human.

I'm just wondering if I've been unknowingly hiding under a freakin rock all these years because I'm just now hearing about this guy. Call Me By Your Name, either threw his music career into overload or I've just been missing his performances and such all these years until now.

THIS IS AWESOME. What a great song. They and the Flaming Lips have such fantastic, welcoming shows that could crack even the most stone-hardened statues of hipsters in the crowd to dance and possibly tear a few holes in their too-tight-to-move skinny jeans. I like this just as much as Illinoise, good artists can write a song in any shape or form.
