Ambassador Zomlot laments killing of American activist Ezgi amid US apathy

7 September, 2024: Ambassador Husam Zomlot says the the death of American activist Aysenor Eygi was "devastating".
Dr Zomlot added Azki was not the first American to be killed by Israel, including Rachel Currie, as well as British citizens. But all of these murders went without consequences and with full impunity.
He added Israel is used to killing these activists, dismissing any Israeli claims of "looking into it" as throwing sands in everyone's eyes.
