@@FRAproductions The days before the 9/11 attacks were glorious! Lots of locations where you could get close to the runways and fascinating aircraft. Concorde, Tristar and many many Fokker aircraft. My dad worked at Fokker until it went bankrupt in 1996, so we had free access to their production line. My favorite was the shiny American Airlines Fokker 100.

First time I've noticed the A330 freighter versions have a different looking nose gear housing. I wonder if it's been modified for strength to keep the aircraft level on the ground under load? Interesting anyway.

Airbus has been forced to modify the nose landing gear and forward fuselage to enable the aircraft to better suit its new role as a cargo carrier. As you can see, the redesign has required the incorporation of a blister fairing on the underside of the nose to accommodate the revised gear layout. Airbus says that the modification was required to address the nose-down pitch that is a characteristic of the A330 (and the A340), to provide a level cabin floor during loading. This makes it easier to load cargo pallets into the aircraft.
This is for sure the best channel for plane spotting videos. Unbelievable quality. Congrats.
