- The EASY way to build a song in GarageBand
GarageBand for iPad and iPhone gives you just 8 bars to work with by default.
Luckily, you have the option to not only extend the length of your project almost indefinitely, but also organize it into clearly defined sections.
Here's how it works.

Top notch and useful even for long time GB users. Thanks!
Very useful, thanks!
Thank you. I always learn something from each of your videos. Have you thought about a tutorial on live streaming through GarageBand? I currently make videos using garageband on my ipad with an evo 8 interface and record the footage on my iPhone. To go live I believe I need an extra bit of kit like an iRig stream, rode x stream or mackie streamer. No sure what is best.
One of the best features on iOS Garageband
Definitely!
Yeah, I wish this was available on Mac version!
Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
This looks like a really useful feature but I have v 10.4.8 for mac and it is not showing the plus sign and sections.
Hey is the duplicate button the button to use if you wish to loop a sound?
If you loop the sound, will it repeat the entire song? I would like to isolate a sound but repeat it as a baseline.
Is it possible to play along to youtube guitar backing track using a Garage Band amps via headphones. I assume i would need to use an irig device of some type?
"inspector button"???
Yep, that’s what the i in a circle button is called 👍
