Beauty bay shimmers crease on me too with every possible base, except with urban decay primer potion. That stuff keeps these shadows in place all day. So now I just use that and have gotten soooo much use out of my BB palettes. Love them!

After finishing this video, I went ahead and recreated it and now I feel so fierce and pretty 🤩 I love that your looks are so simple but impactful. You first got me into color and one day, I’ll feel brave enough to walk outside with my colorful looks 🎨
There are repeat shades from the Book of Magic, Age of Opulence, and Wilderness palettes inside the 42 pan “Midnight” palette. I went through all the palettes and there is at least one repeat shade in each of the original LE palettes. There are so many differences between the three though, that I actually don’t regret my purchase at all.
I will be getting the midnight and berry palettes when my no buy ends because I don’t need them at this time, however I’m happy to announce that for next month Club Nebula is in my rotation and I’m so happy because I’d wanted to get it in my random generator since January and I finally get to play with it again ✨
Been waiting for this video. So glad you did the looks all in one video since you said they came on IG 😉. Lovely looks you did. I most like the first, the blue and purple look. I wish the berries one would have been more, it just feels one dimensional with all the looks I’ve seen so far. Every dark shade seems to blend to the same and same with the light colors 😉. I'm standing up for shipping here Angie....I'm in the UK and whenever i have purchased from the USA it takes between 3-4 weeks for it to arrive, with or without express shipping. Pat Mcgrath is the only USA based that i receive within the week, with no express shipping. So i think, in my opinion that if u r over the 'pond' whichever way, we need to allow 3-4 weeks for shipping. This of course is just my experiences. My 2 fave shadow formulas to use are Odens Eye and Beauty Bay.....both these shimmer formulas crease on me(age related lol) but after using Leorah's tip of duraline i haven't had any problems. So glad that u felt more positive after doing your 3 looks which r fabulous as ever. Oh i keep wishing for a normal daytime vlog around Austin, the town, the outskirts and a bit of nice sight seeing, i would love that when u get the time please. Love Alli X
Dear Angie, you were talking about the formula in this video and I was wondering, what brand of eyeshadow would you consider to be the longest lasting? Or, maybe better question: do you think longevity depends more on the primer? or both? I struggle with longevity due to my hooded eyes and I am trying to tetris this question out.
I bought the earthy palette but the mattes really fade on me even with primer 😑 and some of the shimmers are really flakey. It's ok but I'm pleased I didn't spend more than £10 on it. Have to say I just love you're channel Angie and you're vlog channel too! ❤

Hi Angie, a tip i got from Leorah was to pop a small amount of duraline on the lid, where u want your shimmers to go, before, like u would a NYX glitter glue.....this has stopped my creasing of all shimmers! You only need a little duraline, just a tiny dot. love Alli X

Wow, all of the three looks are just so gorgeous. It really would be more interesting if the red palette had more variety, maybe even more darker or as you said, more orange leaning shades. But overall those palettes look interesting, I would even pick them up if and when I happened to go to BB's site.

Three stunning looks. I recently got a palette with matt white and adore it for the inner corner. I love shimmer too. But a super light Matt pops even more! 💜
Beauty Bay took one month to finally ship my order. A shadow was broken in one of the palettes. I emailed Beauty Bay and sent photos of the damaged palette but no response. BB shimmers crease like crazy on me too, but I’ve discovered that the Glamlite “eye-cing” primer keeps them from creasing for HOURS and hours! It’s my go-to primer now for any shimmer with a more putty-like formula. Beautiful looks as always, Angi; I adored the green one!
I have all three palettes (the berries only 9pan, because as you said, it was too one-dimentional and I felt like 9 pan had all shades I needed) and I work with these shimmers dry, my eyes are hooded and I have lot of creases and wrinkles and the shimmers don't crease on me if I don't spray them, I'm glad that this formula is actually pretty strong without making them wet. I really enjoy these three colourstories. Thank you for mentioning the primer, I boughtthis exact one because lot of people hyped about it and was confused as I didn't like it on me as much as I was expecting, but I will try your trick with leaving it set and see if it improves

Just wanted to point out that the other main reason to consider as far as dispatching/delivering /shipping issues is Brexit: UK companies since Britain left the EU Single Market have had lots of problems with not having many job positions filled as Europeans especially used to cover certain jobs... We in fact have been experiencing lack of products and services due to the lack of workers covering them... Have a good rest of the day /night (sorry not exactly sure what's your time over there, now! Lol). 😊
I like the Beauty Bay eyeshadow formula. But I do use the Elf glitter glue with all shimmers (regardless of brand) because I have very hooded eyes and almost all shadows crease on me if I don't use primer and glitter glue.

Thank you for your thoughts about the formula! I bought the Love Notes palette when it released but ended up not using it a lot even though the colourstory is perfect for me. I have all the same problems as you do and just didn't feel like the palette was worth it. I think I'm going to try again tomorrow with all the tips you gave!
Ok you have to try Nerd’s Rope. It’s super good. Also Airheads have a rainbow 🌈 sour candy rope and you can pull it apart. My boyfriend like sweet tart ropes. Those are some of my non chocolate favorites. Dove dark chocolate is my favorite chocolates here.
My favorite candy : The creme filled Cadbury Eggs 🐰 I like chocolate so "candy" usually means chocolate to me & I look forward to Easter every year just for the Cadbury Eggs. The rest of the time good ole M&Ms, Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers or Nestles Crunch Bars will quiet a chocolate craving. The way you are describing having to use these palettes is how I remember Ace Beaute shadows behaving for me. Later I learned that many pressed pigment formulas worked best Dark to Light feathering the edges without layering. It never ends up giving me the results that I prefer so I avoid certain brands formulas of pressed pigments.
As for candy,I've lived in Israel more than 20 years,and I still gravitate towards the candies I grew up with.I love M and M's,Sniker bars,and Reece's peanut butter cups. They are so tasty!
It doesn’t matter what Brand I use shimmers crease on me the worst is Clionadh unfortunately it almost feels like my lid is sweating but I do not have oily lids or skin I’m more dry than anything, every Brand creases but Clionadh is the only Brand that makes my lid feel like it’s sweating crazy I know but each individual person is of course different in our own special ways. I won’t ever stop wearing sparkly shimmers until my lid has completely disappeared with age lol and I definitely do not believe once we hit a certain age we have to stop wearing certain kinds of makeup, if it makes you happy do it ! It’s that’s simple in my personal opinion we always hear that once we become a certain age we can’t do fun stuff anymore and I call BS if you want to jump in puddles while eating ice cream go for it we only have one life live it however you are the happiest xo.

I think you would like Sweet Tarts! There are chewy kinds and also ones that are more like the consistency of the bottle caps. They are sour and so good 😋 also if you haven't tried Nerds Rope, you have got to try one! Not every store will have them but keep an eye out for em 😍

I find the shimmers crease on me too but if i do a base and a matte underneath it creases a little less but if its just on eye primer it creases really quick. But i love their mattes. And same dark to light better

Sorry if someone else has already commented on this, but if you still haven't tried root beer you might like it! It has a faintly licorice like flavor and a tang that can be really sharp or very mild depending on the brand. Mainstream brands like Mug and A&W are very, very sweet, but I like their diet versions. You can get indie brand root beer that has a sharper flavor, kind of like the difference between dark chocolate and milk chocolate. In Austin I'm sure you can probably get GREAT local root beer. I know that's a super random, but since you like nerds and black licorice I think you might like it.
I'm happy that you found a way to get them to work for you. And, all these looks are absolutely beautiful. I'm not sure I'd enjoy this formula. I prefer being able to blend out a shadow.
BB formula does crease on me and I had some major patchy issues with the age of opulence palette. Like the mattes looking really patchy a few hours after application. I always use the Sigma eye primer (and start with the darkest color), so maybe I will switch it up with urban decay or ND primers. I've been waiting for more videos before I decide on which palettes to get so thank you for the video!!!

BB shimmers crease like crazy on me too, but I’ve discovered that the Glamlite “eye-cing” primer keeps them from creasing for HOURS and hours! It’s my go-to primer now for any shimmer with a more putty-like formula.

I have all three palettes (the berries only 9pan, because as you said, it was too one-dimentional and I felt like 9 pan had all shades I needed) and I work with these shimmers dry, my eyes are hooded and I have lot of creases and wrinkles and the shimmers don't crease on me if I don't spray them, I'm glad that this formula is actually pretty strong without making them wet. I really enjoy these three colourstories.
Thank you for mentioning the primer, I boughtthis exact one because lot of people hyped about it and was confused as I didn't like it on me as much as I was expecting, but I will try your trick with leaving it set and see if it improves

Just wanted to point out that the other main reason to consider as far as dispatching/delivering /shipping issues is Brexit: UK companies since Britain left the EU Single Market have had lots of problems with not having many job positions filled as Europeans especially used to cover certain jobs... We in fact have been experiencing lack of products and services due to the lack of workers covering them... Have a good rest of the day /night (sorry not exactly sure what's your time over there, now! Lol). 😊
I like the Beauty Bay eyeshadow formula. But I do use the Elf glitter glue with all shimmers (regardless of brand) because I have very hooded eyes and almost all shadows crease on me if I don't use primer and glitter glue.
I love your matte inner corner highlights… I used a matte yellow in my inner corner today and it was glorious
I do agree with shipping timing. But, I will have to say I have never had a problem with broken shadows or items. 💗 Love your video!💖

SO excited to see this! I actually discovered Beauty Bay because of you so I don’t own any of their palettes. I am in LOVE with green the way you are with blue I believe. I want ALL the green I can get my hands on 😂😍 originally I wanted the 16 pan Earthy palette and now I’m kind of wanting the 42 pan so I can get some neutrals too (another love of mine), I’m just concerned about storage. Thank you for your thoughts about the formula! I bought the Love Notes palette when it released but ended up not using it a lot even though the colourstory is perfect for me. I have all the same problems as you do and just didn't feel like the palette was worth it. I think I'm going to try again tomorrow with all the tips you gave!
Ok you have to try Nerd’s Rope. It’s super good. Also Airheads have a rainbow 🌈 sour candy rope and you can pull it apart. My boyfriend like sweet tart ropes. Those are some of my non chocolate favorites. Dove dark chocolate is my favorite chocolates here.

My favorite candy : The creme filled Cadbury Eggs 🐰 I like chocolate so "candy" usually means chocolate to me & I look forward to Easter every year just for the Cadbury Eggs. The rest of the time good ole M&Ms, Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers or Nestles Crunch Bars will quiet a chocolate craving.
The way you are describing having to use these palettes is how I remember Ace Beaute shadows behaving for me. Later I learned that many pressed pigment formulas worked best Dark to Light feathering the edges without layering. It never ends up giving me the results that I prefer so I avoid certain brands formulas of pressed pigments.
As for candy,I've lived in Israel more than 20 years,and I still gravitate towards the candies I grew up with.I love M and M's,Sniker bars,and Reece's peanut butter cups. They are so tasty!

It doesn’t matter what Brand I use shimmers crease on me the worst is Clionadh unfortunately it almost feels like my lid is sweating but I do not have oily lids or skin I’m more dry than anything, every Brand creases but Clionadh is the only Brand that makes my lid feel like it’s sweating crazy I know but each individual person is of course different in our own special ways. I won’t ever stop wearing sparkly shimmers until my lid has completely disappeared with age lol and I definitely do not believe once we hit a certain age we have to stop wearing certain kinds of makeup, if it makes you happy do it ! It’s that’s simple in my personal opinion we always hear that once we become a certain age we can’t do fun stuff anymore and I call BS if you want to jump in puddles while eating ice cream go for it we only have one life live it however you are the happiest xo.

I think you would like Sweet Tarts! There are chewy kinds and also ones that are more like the consistency of the bottle caps. They are sour and so good 😋 also if you haven't tried Nerds Rope, you have got to try one! Not every store will have them but keep an eye out for em 😍

Hi, Angi!!! Totally agree with your comments on the BB shipping, I remember not so long ago when it was free from a certain amount of purchase, now you have to pay for it regardless the amount. And it certainly takes longer to my country Spain but it I think this is more of a Brexit thing…
I find the shimmers crease on me too but if i do a base and a matte underneath it creases a little less but if its just on eye primer it creases really quick. But i love their mattes. And same dark to light better

Sorry if someone else has already commented on this, but if you still haven't tried root beer you might like it! It has a faintly licorice like flavor and a tang that can be really sharp or very mild depending on the brand. Mainstream brands like Mug and A&W are very, very sweet, but I like their diet versions. You can get indie brand root beer that has a sharper flavor, kind of like the difference between dark chocolate and milk chocolate. In Austin I'm sure you can probably get GREAT local root beer. I know that's a super random, but since you like nerds and black licorice I think you might like it.
I'm happy that you found a way to get them to work for you. And, all these looks are absolutely beautiful. I'm not sure I'd enjoy this formula. I prefer being able to blend out a shadow.
BB formula does crease on me and I had some major patchy issues with the age of opulence palette. Like the mattes looking really patchy a few hours after application. I always use the Sigma eye primer (and start with the darkest color), so maybe I will switch it up with urban decay or ND primers. I've been waiting for more videos before I decide on which palettes to get so thank you for the video!!!
