@@mummriken99 It depends. Some play better with pick and some with fingers. There is no right or wrong here. There are great players in both categories.
I use a pick for when I need a certain type of tone, but he nails it here with his fingers, its so bright!

Jason not cheated it.it was Lars to ask turn it low
I didn't realize how awful that choice was until I looked at some of the bass lines from this album. They're all great and add a lot to the songs. Why Lars thought it was a good idea to make them inaudible is something I'll never understand.

Honestly, I Love the way that record sounds originally. I know Jason should’ve been turned up more in the mix but I kinda dig that dry, heavy guitar that sounds like all the air is being sucked outta the room. Still, it’s nice to see a capable Bassist demonstrate how the bass line could’ve sounded had it been more prominent in the mix. Very nice work.
