I remember in a big IT company about feedback given to one employee that " your communication is poor" during an appraisal. The employee very strongly disagreed but that feedback affected his increment adversely.
So the employee changed his approach. He had a good habit of highlighting critical situations much before others used to find out. This time he kept silent when the next critical problem came and his manager knew only after it got a huge escalation from the client. Angrily he called the employee as to why he did not highlight it in time as usual. Now the employee answered " according to you I have poor communication. So I am doing the implementation part."
Things backfire if incorrect things go in a person's appraisal.

yesterday I asked one leetcode question to one of my senior who is team lead btw i am a fresher in startup....ques puchte time maine thoda discussion mai involve hone ke liye ki approach achi lage apne inputs diye.....maybe unko thoda bura laga jab mai baar bar apni side se bol raha tha....toh unhone damt dia....dekh bhai tune sunana hai toh sun le varna chala ja wapas.....like baad mai ache se question toh solve kar dia unhone aur maine bhi koshish ki ...ki kam se kam interrupt karu but jab office se woh ja rahe the then unke exprssions mujhse handshake ke time kharab the .....kya mujhe unse baat khatam kar deni chahiye ki ye bas mai overthink kr raha hu bas ya sorry bolna thik hoga ..pls answer

Such dirty managers are not the end of the world. There are many alternatives to progress in life. Do a SWOT analysis and go ahead. SWOT is Strength, Weakness, Opportunities & Threat.
