I have always made content throughout my professional career, however, it has always been for someone else. In May 2020 I decided that it was time to create something for myself. Football Manager has always been a game that I have loved so wanted to take this opportunity to share some of the tips and tricks that I've learnt!

How do you find the ‘newgen’ option

Have to shoutout the man who brought it to my attention!
Found a 5’8 striker in inters youth intake as Leicester that has 18 finishing and 17 first touch with good pace and is only 15….. I’m excited to start training him as I just signed him for 850k.
I'll make sure to use this in my saves! "Is Not" works with Newgen, because its checking if the Newgen Field ISN'T blank, i.e anybody who is a newgen.

Where is the newgen option, doesn't seem to appear as an option.
I use a similar filter. The "is newgen" is not needed just use and age between 15 and 19 is better.
Also I have the current and potential hability that my scouts can recomend of a player.
And finally i scout all the mayor sub21 and under of nations.
does anyone else have the problem that your scouting focuses never return playerys?

After switching to masked attributes in FM22 last year, I have to say that it’s a completely different game and much more of a challenge which is far more rewarding. Having attributes showing is essentially playing the game on easy mode and filters like this take a lot of the enjoyment out of the game for me now. Don’t get me wrong this is a good filter and still works when you mask attributes (provided you’ve scouted the players obviously). Just a personal preference but I like to utilise my scouts rather than use the player filters for added realism and challenge. Would highly recommend anyone who hasn’t yet, to challenges yourself and start your FM23 long save with masked attributes.

Remember spirited is better than resolute, I’m fairly sure resolute can mean less than 15 professionalism.
You're right, lowest possible are 5 Ambition and 1 Pressure. Resolute is a wildcard, especially when one plays for you...
You could've snuck Unsporting in there; the way I see it, they either fight till the whistle, or the opposition gets revenge and fouls him. Team player!

I can't seem to get this to work on my Mac...I have downloaded it and made a folder called filters but it doesn't show up on the game.I don't see where I'm messing up if I could get by someone it be helpful..im new to the game

Are you sure it's working fine? I have a regen in my club, who is "fairly determined". But his PA is just 67.
Not every player with a great personality can be a gem, for example, let's take Ronaldo and Klose and as an example, both hit their maximum potential with an incredible work ethic, but for Ronaldo the potential has been higher than for Klose, not everyone can make it to the top Level but a player with a good personality ist more likely to reach his potential than a player without it and could possibly decay less when aging.

Amazing video , great to be back . Just wondering what’s the best way to narrow the search down bc I’m getting thousands of players that are worth like 600k, any way of narrowing it down?
Look at players with International appearances to filter the results. Thats what I do in a large database. I set up Screen Flow as well but thats a whole nother thing...
I always just search by attributes like I showed in the vid 💪
I’m finding newgens no problem - but once I have agreed a fee with a club they’re always not interested in signing with me even tho I’m a premier league club - anybody know why?!
Is he younger than 17yo? I usually just put the bid in and negotiate from there. It’ll be easier once they’re 18 or older.

This is a great way to find newgens, I agree but how about setting up a scouting network that could consistently find these wonderkids just like how PSG or man city or the other big clubs find them? I've been trying since FM 22 and still can't figure out how to use my scouts (who are all excellent btw) to find these players.
That is something that I can work on for sure!
@@HoodGamingUK I'd be thrilled if you can make a whole video on how to really scout (not using the player search) in FM23 because I personally think it's absolutely broken and doesnt work. worse than fm22
I use a neet trick that can help find "Wonderkids" before they're actually labeled "Wonderkids" it's not concrete but I say it's effective, try and find young players from the age of 15-18 & filter it so they've played 10 senior games atleast and have an average rating of 7.00-7.50+, if they play in a average league with those average rating they're usually worth atleast scouting, I've found some solid players doing this, also using Second Yellow Cards Guide is still unbelievable for finding good regens by scouting the u21s etc international teams

@@TheBadger96 yes you could do this but this basically is just saying that the scouting system is completely broken. I want to set up a scouting network then when theres a wave of newgen my scout is there and ready to find the next pele. At this moment i dont think this is possible

You need the in-game editor to find that filter. Not sure that exists on xbox

Just set the age range to is between 15 and 19
I load this filter, put my scouting range to world but only 2 players show up, and they are based in my nation and are already scouted with a D recommendation. Am I doing something wrong? Cheers
